I thought your kind of art would be crudely drawn dicks on the inside walls of port-a-cans.

More like ones that I find on the inside of PopTarts cartons?

Port-a-cans, I sorta paint the walls, if you know what I mean?

Dont know if you have gotten your answer but that looks like a wet sand job to me. Is it scratched or is the clear flaking? If it is too deep (past the clear) then polishing etc is only going to ruin the paint.

Thanks! I need to ping him and see what his decision is.

He said it was just the clear. It is flaking, not scratched.

If it was mine, I'd go at it. I think our friendship could tolerate a screw up, but I don't want to cost him more money in the end.

Always depends on the screw up. Most of my friendships would tolerate anything...except taking my last Dr Pepper/beer. And doing a little damage to my stuff i could tolerate, but if it was my dad's car, I'd just tell him that he gets a 15 min head start

I do in fact reload however, I am one of the California (Lake Tahoe area) hunters so a 130 gr Sierra is a no-go (I have to run non-lead). I load for some wierd ones. I have a blackpowder brass shot shell Standard Arms 12ga. A 7.35 Carcano, 35 Remington and a 30-40 Krag that are all getting expensive to play with. I always loaded 150gr for the Savage and had good luck but now with the Non-lead I have not had the patience/time to build a load for it. I have non-lead loads locked in for my .308 tikka rifle which I typically hunt with now.

What puzzles me is why is the poop ON TOP of the toilet paper in the sump?

That means some itchy ass contractor in thick coveralls is profusely sweating in the hot Texas sun, and if he's a scaffold builder, some poor bastard is working beneath ol' itchy ass.

I used to restore some of that stuff. Sometimes you can get away with sanding and re-clearing the area but it is an art. Lifting clear like that is very tricky to do well without the skills. Also, red is not going to help at all. Red is one of the hardest colors because it fades so quickly. Touch up paint never matches. Good luck!
