I found mine on expedition portal for 200 bucks. Was off an f10 but the guy bought it from a guy with a ram. It's fits a tundra fine. Just to help expand your search to more than just tacos. Many softoppers fit a bunch of different models

Yeah I was wondering about that! I was going to do some researching and see what all will fit a Tacoma long bed.

I imagine any midsize truck with the right size bed would work. My guy let me try it on first before committing to buying it

I put on @PlumpPossum topper last week from his turd, :DI ment 3rd Gen it was long enough, just not tall enough. So that rules out any 3rd gens that ive come across. Chevy 1500 would work length wise but width nah. Frontier looks like it would be too small. Deff not many softoppers around here forsale. As @SearArtist mentioned I could buy new but I’d rather wait it out and find one for 3-400 instead of almost spending 1k.

Mines not a perfect fit height wise, but it works fine either way. I only use it occasionally. Keeps the rain out and things hidden enough.

This house is fine as a rental. But I wouldn’t want to buy it. I need to find a place I can park my boat. Hate having to keep it away from the house.

It’s crazy how expensive trailer storage is down here! Out in Montana I had 2 10x50 spots for $50 total. Down here it’s around $100 for a single spot. Another reason why we bought instead of renting. Will have plenty of room to store our trailers now.

Damn dude, sorry to hear that. Home owner is worried the housing market will crash? That may be the case but it's not like its going to stay down, maybe like a year or two if that. In the big scope of things, that's nothing. I understand their concern though, I wouldn't want to be out whatever inflated value they think the house is worth. Buy low, sell high.

Is the ARB single sufficient for airing up skinny 33's or should I do a Twin? Planning to put it in the bed cubby, I don't plan to run tools, I don't plan to get larger tires. Pic for attention.

Should be fine, definitely will be slower than a twin.

Yeah it’s my plan to buy when I return from my deployment. Which is 2nd quarter next year.

We did not want to buy at all but with rental prices being as crazy as they are and interest rates being 2.99% for a 30 year fixed it was a no brainer. Who wants to help remodel a house with us!?

I was going to put it in the bed so I could use it for bike tires easily, but I guess I could just run an air line under the truck and mount a chuck in the rear bumper....

I have one in the engine bay, and planning on putting a second one in my rear bumper so i dont have to pop the hood if i dont want

The cubby mounted single would still work good, and a lot cheaper.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

As mentioned before, if you go run trails and a few extra minutes airing tires kill you, maybe you shouldn’t go. But I get the more power aspect as well.

That's what I was thinking, I'm not trying to drop a grand on this, just want something a little better than the cheapo compressor in a bag that I currently have.

I picked up one of these Viair compressors. Suits my needs well. Only thing I would change is to swap out a longer electrical cables. I'd have to go up one wire size. The air hose stretches to reach the back tires just fine but it's stretched a bit tight to reach the back passenger hence the need for longer electrical leads. The motor will get super hot on the 3rd to 4th tire and the thermal cutoff kicks on.
