For those who are interested, I'll be heading to Hemet area on Saturday morning for a couple hours and likely heading into the local mountains to post camp Saturday evening. Nothing crazy as far as wheeling but at least getting out to camp for a night.

If it's in good shape you can probably get a few bucks for it, there are a lot of guys on here with 1st gens that they are trying to keep stock and in good shape but their original skid plate is rusted out or damaged. I didn't bother selling mine because it was pretty mangled

    Whole lotta stuff
In terms of Coms, I have a Baofeng handheld that I'll be using for the first time. Have we established what freq/channel we'll be on Saturday?

I'm good for 8am at the trail head and added my name to the google doc.

Thanks for the headsup. Gotta change up plans now

Haven't been before but sounds like its similar to cleghorn right? Off shoots with varying degree of difficulty and a main road that's 2wd capable

The main pilot Rock trail is 2wd friendly but the 4wd trail splits off at the beginning and meets up with it again about 1/2 way thru.

The 4wd trail is definitely a 4x4 trail but the easier main trail is pretty relaxed
