Knew it was coming but Remington Arms filed for bankruptcy again yesterday, second time in two years. Think there is a deal in the works with a investment group but going mainly military.

Ya, it could be the gun, I only have one 9mm (CZ 75) pretty reliable. All of a sudden I started having issues, failure to extract, I talked to a fellow shooter at the range who has a pretty good reputation as a gun smith, he asked what ammo i was using and I showed him the WWB he replied that could very well be the problem. I told him I had use WWB in the past with no problems his reply was "Their quality control" is all over the place. I received the same response from a couple of other shooters I respect so I have just quite using it. so far so good. However I will tell you this, when this happens a person (a least me) sure looses confidence in the gun, Will this happen again? when I really need it? being this gun is my bed stand companion I was concerned, to the point of replacing it with a Bersa .40. I have since ran about 500 rounds thru the CZ without a Hic-up. so the confidence is returning. I was always a big believer in a revolver as the best for personnel protection, it always goes bang. jmop

    Same crap everyone else got

I may be in the minority but I think every gun should be able to fire any ammo you throw at it. All my ar's will fire steel cased russian surplus, brass 223, brass 5.56, etc...Same with all my hand guns. They are normally fed a high diet of cheap steel cased ammo from Winchester, Tulammo, wolf, and all types of brass. Yes its all dirty but it all works just fine in all my guns. And yes, I have more than just one hand gun and one rifle to test on and it seems to be working out so far.
Maybe I'm just lucky and non of my cheap crap ammo has been a bad batch, but I've been doing this for 10 plus years and they all seem to just carry on fine with whatever I load.
WWB is also something I have shot a lot of b/c it was for the longest time the cheaper brass ammo you could get a walmart. Never had an issue. Again, maybe I'm just lucky but doubt it.
I would say with all my crap ammo on avg. I have more than 99% success with it fire as it should. Sure there are some like strikes or stuck cases every once in a while over all those years but thats all.
    Just my .02

Ya, don't disagree, although all autos will skip a beat now and then. It could very well be the gun, & until I am sure, my confidence level is not there with that gun. since changing ammo I have had no problems but a lot of my thinking is the same as yours in believing the gun should fire just about anything i put in it, in fact CZ has a good reputation for doing just that. I googled a review of WWB ammo on the net and as expected, some good some bad. one more failure to extract and the gun will be back to CZ, it is not a good feeling to have a gun your not sure of esp if it is being used for PP. I'm well into my 70's and have been shooting (not a lot) for many of those years, now retired I am spending more time at the range & enjoying it
BTW, Thanks for you input, I really appreciate it jmop
