There are a lot of different brands with different functionality based on needs, looks, and expected use. Some are heavy,, some are light, some expose more bed when open, and some limit access when open. Could you provide some insight as to what you're looking to accomplish? I.e. camping needs, concealment, hauling, etc...

I would get a duvet for the bed.:anonymous:

    Welcome to TW.
Do you need security or just keep prying eyes out.
Lots of styles from roll up, tri fold, vynil, vynil hard cover, metal roll up and metal folding.

I'm looking to conceal my bed. I park my truck outside at work and at home so I don't want random people looking in my bed.

Do you keep stuff in the bed that has value to others?

Vinyl trifold ones can be had for cheap. They conceal your stuff and do a pretty great job of keeping it dry. At the higher end would be a hard trifold extang/bakflip. They keep your stuff more secure, but cost more too. I’ve had both, was thoroughly happy with the vinyl one, but went hard cover this time and am happy with it too.

No, but if wanted to move some stuff or load my guns in the back of my truck, I wouldn't want people messing with it.

If someone wants in bad enough. Not even the best metal cover will keep them out.
I personally wouldn't choose just a vynil one. I would choose more of the extang backflip model. Seems to be a good middle ground in product range

Even though I have a factory cover, I would have gone this route for an after market one. JaCado is right, if a criminal wants in bad enough, they will find a way.

So, any brand recommendations? I'm looking more to keep things dry if needed but also something pretty easy to be removed or rolled out of the way and secured.

Not mine but saw this posted. 15 seconds and a crowbar. I now park backed up close enough to the garage door that this can’t happen. 84B18B9A-060A-4519-B221-60CD930945C6.jpg
