I was going to do a bunch of math and explain "Well, it's 3.50 so you buy it at 70 instead of 64, for example, and with dividents at x.xx$ it'll take x years to pay off so maybe it isn't worth it"

~1.00$ dividends, so it will pay off a lot faster - should you hold it long time. Yeah that was my thought with SPHD - sure could probably target a few cents less, but I want to have these shares when I die.

I think they could have pulled it off, maybe to a lesser extent, even without that. I think AMZ sees the writing on the wall - ecommerce is not forever. Sounds silly to say it now, but how many people said "Blockbuster is a sure bet, they'll be around forever!" they didn't adapt and look to move their business model. I'm sure Amazon e-commerce is huge now, 15, 20 years from now....kaput. (NOTE: I'm sure people also said back then, "Walmart? They won't be around forever, nobody wants a big national store o_O"). And to be fair, I don't know what will happen. I don't know what will replace it, heck it could still be a big thing, etc. But to hedge bets now for 20 years from now on the same thing, no dice - which is why I think AMZ is branching out and looking to be stable should ecommerce go byebye. maybe we'll trend back to mini bodegas? Who knows.

I forgot my goal at the end of all this junk. I'll probably forget this, I wanted to simulate DCA buying throughout the entire 'rona round. I'm thinking simulate it as the same investment per month through 2019, 2020, and 2021....hopefully by the end of '21 we'll be stable enough to say "it's done" or similar. But, yeah - I want to simulate DCA through the entire stretch and then compare it to timing the market, even timing it dead nuts at the dip(....s?) to buy. And compare them and see - not sure what I'm expecting, to see that DCA comes out on top, or comes out close enough to the top that it shows it wasn't worth it trying to time it, or comes out way under because you were smart at the best time. And then maybe compare it to being off the lows a bit, because we are human.

...we just don't have the data yet, we aren't out of the 'rona. :|

I'm continually baffled by the fact that I cannot use the TD Ameritrade to view the one month or greater chart for NRGU. It just shows up as a red box

BA and RTX close down, but TXT, NOC, GD, LMT stay up? I get BA, but RTX is an odd one to drop. Well, it's nice because it's a great buy under $60, but I don't get how they can be downgraded to HOLD after their ER. I expect it to pop tomorrow... maybe?

It’s possible, but the market outlook just isn’t good for the rest of 2020 at the very least, and going out further into ‘21 the longer this drags on. That’s just difficult to overcome.

Overall 2020 and the beginning of 2021 doesn't look good, but RTX is in a great position. Yes, the commercial side of the house is hurting, but the defense side is still kicking ass (and should through the end of the year). There was bad news about having to deal with the commercial side (Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace) hits, but I think as a whole, the company will do good... unlike BA... I wonder when they will drop below $100/share again. hehe

“$KODK under this same CEO was relentlessly bullish on its partnership with perma-fraud Unipixel in 2013-2015.

Then came the Kodak Coin crypto bubble stock promotion in 2018.

Kodak has no pharma division and has never been through an FDA process. This is utter horseshit.”

As someone who works in aerospace and used to work in medical and knows what it takes to get approvals to work in either of those industries, especially when you haven’t worked in them before....I tend to agree.

I’m curious what Kodak is making though. They might have acquired a new division or one plant they have somewhere random can make the labels or something like that for all the vaccines or some shenanigans. Or they do have those approvals to manufacture medical and just nobody knew it, and they’re poised to take it on and take it on well.

Even I don’t believe that but still.

Both CVX and XOM maintained their dividend. I am not surprised but a lot of the contributors on Seeking Alpha might be. Or not, sometimes I think they write the crap they write for clicks, which in turn is money for them.

Want clicks on SA? Write an an article about T.

Super excited about XOM. May have to splurge a bit and capitalize on the 7.9% yield. Well T and XOM. :D

Apparently some generics or ingredients used in several drugs so we don’t have to rely on imports as much. And yes, they’ll reportedly be making the president’s favorite covid drug. Likely was what sealed the deal.

Probably doesn’t get much traffic just stating that companies that always pay dividends will continue to do so.

Averaged down on....Tuesday? Might have been Monday. Everything is blending together now. Had a good day yesterday at least. Realistically I'm kind of just holding onto it to not sell it at a -20% loss. I know I can use that to tax advantage but. This is monopoly account. :notsure:

Yep..NRGU should skyrocket after Shell's earnings report. Impressive shit. An 83% reduction in profit is bad but their guidance on oil price futures was horrible.
