That's a good point, I forgot it's going to rain all weekend (probably) - This will be my first trail too so maybe I should wait until it's dry?

We should maybe do the same for Peters Mill/Taskers Gap and dots for the stores that have permits.

Anyone seen this Lexus Overland build on bring a trailer?

I prefer waiting as does the person I’m heading there with, as we are wholly unfamiliar with the trails. We might do the service road in the rain, but that’s a stretch (probably).

That's a great idea. I'm not as familiar with that one, so someone else would have to tackle it.

I can't bring myself to look on BAT anymore. Even still I was on there yesterday and saw a billion cars I'd want. One of them, a nicely done '88 BMW M3 was way out of my price range, but there was an '83 GTI in Annapolis that was well within my price range. I need a bigger garage.

Then go down the easy way and check out reddish knob while you’re there!

If you search flagpole knob on google and Look at the directions it will most likely take you up the easy way take you up the easy way.

How are any of these routes in the rain? I assume easy should be fine?

They'll be pretty much the same but just wet.

The easy way is basically a semi-maintained dirt road so it should be fine. Medium is probably a little hard. Hard would be a good bit harder. There are some solid mud holes that will probably be a mess depending on the rain

Appreciate the insight. How tight are each of the trails? I assume the easy one is fairly wide? My buddy wants us to still go in the rain, but to eliminate as much "risk" as possible, so it looks like easy will be the way.

You could drive a stock Tacoma right off the lot and up the medium way in a tyrannical downpour and you still wouldn't have an issue. It's just a very gradual ascent up to the top with a few soccerball (if that) sized rocks scattered about.

Thanks. Are any of them tight?

Also, apparently the rain is from...a tropical storm?

The harder trail might give you a few stripes... it's got some tight sections in that sense but not much to worry about tire placement. Other two are pretty wide open.

It’s been a while but the easy way is pretty wide
