Switching it all over to NRGD at 2pm today before the sell off to close the day....

 

So Amaz0n reports today after hours...UPS is up 10% on eanings report and "Enormous amount of packages shipped due to COVID 19"....I wonder who they were shipping for...

 

Hasn’t that sell off already been happening? My xom and cvx are hit pretty hard right now

 

at -15% on the day for NRGU.

 

Just to clarify the ??? at the end of a statement means it is indeed a question...Like if your town refused to plow the snow and you wrote "Should we heat the streets to prevent them from icing????" that might indicate you are suggesting if it's so bad you can't plow we must need an alternative...
If it's so bad you can't vote....Wow is it easy to kick the hornets nest...

UCO is down 7.8%. I'm just going to keep writing covered calls on the 1000 shares I have until I loose them. WTI has been trading so flat it's actually working out pretty well.

UPS popped off. I said like a month ago if I was smart I would have invested before their earnings. And then, the next month....I skipped the exact same thing.



instead today I'm holding NRGU and FUN. SPHD, but that's because my boring investments started bleeding into my monopoly account, and that's for the divs so I don't care.

 

I can't make sense of how anyone (either party) could say mail-in voting won't be used fraudulently. People will be scooping them from mailboxes, or right at the source, there's no doubt about it. And I mean both parties, not even picking a side. How could anyone say that won't happen?!

 

WTI just fell so far so fast it broke my chart. lol

 

OXY is the bastard child of the big 10 right now...most are down 1-2%...OXY is down 7.5%

 

This was all done with 1 inquisitive tweet...Could you imagine what one intentionally (hacked) malevolent tweet could do...
The president was saying "If it's so bad you need mail in voting maybe we need to delay the election..."
It's like when your dad says "Stop your crying or I'll give you something to cry about..."

 

The craziest part to me is that Twitter can have such an influence. I thought Twitter started off as a place for teenage girls to gossip. I still think that's what it is. Why do people take it seriously? People get their news from Twitter and believe it? I don't get it.

 

It's worse than that...it's the single source of stories for major media outlets...No 3x sourcing stories...just run and gun. They are so desperate for ad dollars they will report any single source story as news. That's why groups can so easily get together and engineer stories/movements...it's all about $$$
The New York Times use to be a vaunted paper...now it's regurgitating tweets, and crafting entire multi-page articles from single tweets...that it knows it's particular reader base demands...

The problem is that it's not people that are getting news from Twitter. It's the news outlets themselves. So, that tweet goes from reaching 10 million to reaching 500 million. Because CNN is to lazy to actually do any reporting that requires any research.

I think the issues are, tweeting it. Twitter isn’t the place for this stuff and he shouldn’t be the messenger. It looks like he’s getting beat up in the polls, so on top of suggesting maybe delaying the election, he throws in it will be the most corrupt election in history. This is completely about giving himself an excuse in the event he loses. Not to mention many feel the election he won may be the reigning champ of corrupt elections. Love him, hate him, or indifferent, he’s 100% ego.
And I agree, I don’t like the mail in idea. But I don’t know why we can file taxes online and receive direct deposits for tax returns but we can safely vote online. This in person stuff is old school, and could just as easily be corrupted by people blocking traffic at polling stations

I am not sure this is the best example, someone filed my taxes for me, probably 10 years ago. I still have to get a PIN from the IRS every year to try to avoid it happening again. Elections are so much more important than tax returns, it would be tax fraud on steroids.
