They make it look too easy. I think it's actually witchcraft. Like after you reach a certain level in the union you're inducted into the secret inner circle via some arcane ritual. Probably involving drinking the blood of a virgin mixed with drywall dust or something.

True, but an ideal lake cruiser for a group. Especially with the nice Merc 4 stroke that he's got on it; at low speeds you don't even need to raise your voice to talk.

I heard the secret society of drywallers is widely known about, but the specific details are a bit muddy

I do enjoy literally anytime i have to do drywall/ taping/ mudding around the house and my wife is like why does it look so shitty. They make it look so easy on that show with the 2 people from Texas who renovate houses...:duh:

Clearly you have not seen me work with drywall. I look at it and it starts spewing dust all willy nilly.

What’s the stats on that you know? I just picked up one to spray my bed liner. A pain finding decent ones that are powerful

Story of my life. Except kitchen faucets. I refuse to deal with those again after the nightmare that was taking out my old one, the install for the new was okay, annoying but okay. The old one.....physically do not understand how it was installed. I had to take a sawzall with a metal blade to it, there was no other way. And once it was out I confirmed it - the lock nut physically would not come off in it's state, so I genuinely don't understand it. That was a pain. But, it's done and it's the next buyers problem.

For sure. If I ever do end up with my dream of having a lake house, I will probably have a pontoon and a sun deck type boat, enough to pull someone here and again but mostly for a speedier cruise. Chances are, that will be my first boat.....and potentially last, I know what I'm diving into with boats :p

Waco is basically one big town of flipped houses done for a budget by someone who is first a TV host and second a carpenter, and pays people who bid the lowest and then makes it look good on camera.

I am going to use it paint my truck with tintable raptor liner so a very similar application
this a 3HP, 20 gallon, 7.7 cfm rated compressor. The air end has a slight rattle but it builds pressure quick and holds.
    i got a steal at $80 used (15years old)
I am going to change the compressor oil and run it. This was the highest cfm rated and cheapest compressor I could find that would run off a 120v 15amp circuit
Worst case, I paid 80 for a 25’ hose, regulator, and water separator.
If the air end dies on me. I can hook my arb compressor to this air tank and finish the job 30 sec on, 60 sec off.

CFM is most important- I think most bedlining guns require 4cfm

old NE houses let all the spring creepy crawlies inside...

We had a small job in an active area where we could only work at night and there were art installations all around us. We literally would not allow the guys to sand and we told them that up front. All cutting was done outside, they brought in the best taper I've ever seen and they knocked it out. Absolute voodoo witchcraft master wizard alchemy.
My stock land yacht can make that, right?

Where's the floating bridge in VT? No way I'm taking the 250 on the trip, that thing is pretty useless off pavement as it sits. I do camp in VT and wouldn't mind making an excursion to see the floating bridge some time, sounds neat.

The floating bridge is on SR-65 in Brookfield. It is pretty cool. I drove across it a handful of times while I was in college up here and it was relatively recently rebuilt but I haven't crossed it since then.

I'll take anything but food poisoning. I've had it twice--never from something I cooked, but it still makes me a little paranoid now and I tend to overcook common problem foods like chicken and get nervous about eating leftovers if they're more than a day old. The second time was the worst--I have never been sicker than that.

I bought one of those cheap console organizers off Amazon for my F-150. It's basically just pieces of plastic that go together in a grid pattern, but I like it. Makes the center console much more usable:

Nothing to worry about, the silica scare was just another way to cash grab by OSHA and the independent safety program companies. We spent a huge amount of money with our safety company to test our silica exposure levels, it's actually not much for drywall, although not nothing.

Reading all MSDS when I was the safety guy in a manufacturing plant, I always put a mask on when in dust. Even dirt dust can get shit in your lungs. I like my lungs for holding nice deep breathes.
