Just more heavy ass, insane cars that I'll never be able to afford because of the engines in them. Even 20 years from now.

Yeah, I had no clue that base price for a new LC was over $85k.

Yeah, it's tempting at only $800. But I really don't need another project vehicle.

Going by the holes in the driver side front fender, probably fairly so. But it does look like it's been in AZ for a while going by the paint fade.

If you are serious, let me know. I can contact the seller and see if I can swing by after work. It's not too far.

    @Empty_Lord

So, question for you good sir... would towing (saggy rear end) cause issues with VSC if I never did a zero point calibration after the level and 35s on my 2012 Tundra? I'm trying to recreate my weird loss of power climbing a hill while towing yesterday.

It felt like a fuel filter. I ran injector cleaner through a 1/2 gallon of fuel and the problem 'almost' went away.

    Edit:
No CEL, no flashing anything, just massive loss of power.

@Kwikvette since you work in the auto dealership industry...you guys feeling any pressure from the new trend of online car buying? I've been seeing countless commercials for it on Hulu lately and it got me wondering if this is something people actually do (I always dismissed it before). I know Carmax is doing it and now Carvana, Shift, etc.

I imagine most people still prefer to do it all in person but I guess these online companies are trying to take advantage of the quarantine and stuff going on right now

It's funny you ask, because I responded just over a month ago to someone's thread regarding business practices, online purchases, etc.

The majority of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals, and I know this being the finance director and getting my hands on every single car deal that has gone through our dealership for the past 8 years.

I've looked through the countless surveys as well to see that, even though a lot of people have web browsed specific sites during their car shopping, they still felt that they needed to come in to -

    test drive the car
see if their booster sits fit in the car
get an idea for the passing power it has on the highway
see if their dog fits comfortably
    etc.

You can learn all you want about a car online and watch all the videos google can muster up, but nothing will beat the experience of actually being there in front of your possible 20k-100k purchase.

With that being said though, we have adapted to those that prefer to do everything online, not to mention those that never step foot in our dealership. We have drivers on standby for either of our 3 stores, and have customers meet with mobile notaries to get all my paperwork signed. We have a small team dedicated to online sales and though they're not sales people, they are the initial filter before a lead is distributed to a sales person.

Maybe because we're well known, could be that a lot of people just keep coming back to us.

We've sold many cars to those living out as far as 3 hours; Paso Robles, Atascadero, Oakdale, Petaluma, San Fran, Oakland, Los Angeles (just yesterday we sold a Grand Cherokee to a guy that lives there), Klamath Falls OR, and even to a lot of people in Texas.
