    $1000 is overpriced. Got mine painted for $350 don't need to blend it in. Especially if its black like yours you won't even tell the difference. Just tell them you wanted to paint a car part and not do a repair. Most shops gonna tell you that they needed to blend your hood with you front end and all that extra stuff and they even want you to bring your car in but just tell them your just painting a extra hood and not doing a repair job.
