Is there a list anywhere of what the tunes in the addon pack are or actually do?

Is the process of uploading the Tune to your ECU easy, don’t know of anyone where I’m from having the OVTune. This will be a first for me. Also just want to be clear only purchases I will need is the Tacoma 3.5L vF Tune pack and the vForest Tuner Software +Flash Cable correct?

Correct. Its a pretty straightforward process, and you can't brick your ECU. Just follow the directions and you should be good.

I'd be interested in knowing this also.

Anybody install this with a manual transmission?

    Ya, installed the tune.
I'm still trying to sort out in my head the evolution from OV to VF.
From what I understand OV had canned tunes where as VF is open to configure your own tunes? BUT you can now purchase an add-on pack of tunes for VF?

The tune pack gives you the 2.0 canned tunes. And in editable format so you can use them as a starting point if you want to customize or adjust anything.

If you dont buy the tune pack, you have the editable stock files in vF

Just getting ready to reflash the truck and now I read if you have an aftermarket intake there could be issues? Still a noob to this tune stuff :notsure:

    @OVTune any insight on this?

    Ah, that makes sense.
I wonder how many canned tunes there are in the tune pack and how they're defined?
    Thanks.

They are the same as what’s in flash manager. Reg / premium. Base / SFOB. Etc.

I have and S&B intake that I installed before i first tuned. I have had no issues, before or after tuning. I can hear the air rushing a little more, but that is a function of the intake itself.

Quick question, I'm hoping someone has already answered this, buying the flash kit upgrade to get VF tuner (i have the flash kit right now, not the dongle version), Do I also need to buy the Tacoma 3.5L tune pack?

Also, i know flash kit no workey on Macs, but does the new VF software work on Macs?

If you are upgrading, you get the tune pack as part of the upgrade. You just need to buy the $79 upgrade to vF

No native macOS support. Use boot camp.
