    Since I’ve got the CCP for North Carolina there’s no wait. Buddy of mine in Texas is waiting a week or more for handguns because of the massive surge in gun purchases clogging up the NCIC call database

    NC doesn’t even call you in if you’ve got a CCP cause it means you’re already cleared by the license to purchase and own. It’s so nice. I got my 44mag in less than 20 mins of showing up at the shop last week

    Oh i mean the Kimber looks like a new model, cali is anti new anything. It would need to be on the cali roster to purchase. Maybe it is, i havent looked

    You can buy them new. Just can't find one. And since it's used , even if it's off roster your good to go.

    Yep, don't like them on pistols, could just be after decades of doing something one way you get use to it whether it's the best way or not.
    I have shot them on AR platforms and didn't mind it, just seems too far forward on a pistol for my comfort.
