Pretty quiet in here today. Maybe I'll drag in some tech. :luvya:

This fuel line fitting at my tank andits counterpart at the fuel line going along the body are totally seized up. Could I just cut them off and replace them with a compression fitting of some sort?

If you plan on replacing the fuel pump assembly then from there you can add a AN-6 fitting adapter and run braided fuel line all the way to the fuel pump with another AN-6 adapter into the fuel filter.

Hmm. The fuel pump side is just a flare nut (Which is seized), that goes into a hose, and then through another flare nut (also seized) into a hard line to the front of the truck. Are these adapters made to go into a threaded fitting?

Does anyone here know when the low fuel light is supposed to come on in the 18 gal tank?

My needle was buried at the bottom of my E line and the light still didn't come on... filled it completely and I got 15.8 gallons in it before the pump shut off.

Does that mean my sending unit might be on the way out?

They sound exactly like the screams coming from the 3rd gen section.
