I didn't know how gross and disgusting whitey could be until I visited family in farm country PA(dad side) which didn't hold a candle to Appalachiaville VA(mom side).

I don't understand why we all cant hate each and every one us equally

And then we the distant relatives in Miami that will not allow any type of Italian food to be served in their house.

There are some complicated aspects of So FL culture that are hard to comprehend let alone explain to anyone else.:rofl::rofl:

Definetly not political. The T man and others like a lot of advertising at their rallies.

Judging by the age of the spectators, Id say country music concert.

Ironically the most outwardly racist person from my family was my uncle who was 2/3 Native American (very much looked it, too).

One of my cousins has 2 kids of mixed race (black/white) and he wouldn't even be in the same room as them and would make his disapproval very obvious. Caused a great deal of strain in the family but he didn't care. Was a damn shame. I don't get it at all and especially treating children that way is fucked up.

Heh, I just reflected on my own apparel. I believe I have worn the same exact outfit of cargo shorts, ridiculous/retro t-shirts, ankle socks and low-top shoes for 3 decades.

Sigh, the local threads on TW seem to attract politics. Now I know why the mods curb that shit with a quickness.

The effect on children is horrible, here's an example.

We just fired the 19yr old driver at my company (for alot of things) but the final straw was him racially ranting and raving at the sales counter over the state of the union and his last sentence was "I wish america had just stayed white" ... but his mom was full blooded native american and he did NOT look like a white kid lol it was all a product of living with only his very racist father

Yup, stuff like that is very much taught/learned and a cycle like that has to be broken before it becomes a way of thinking.

American History X is a good movie on the subject, really intense and hard to watch at times but well worth watching

Some of the other (nearly dead) car sites allow it.. They seem to follow a pattern where they fall into it then the good contributors leave and the site dies. If they start it, then it doesn't take long for the site to die.

Yeah, thats the reason I've backed off a lot of them. The no politics rule here is a relief, especially since i can get politics literally anywhere else.

Wait, is this a local thread?

    Should I feel attacked?!:goingcrazy:

Just kidding.. on a lighter note what is your favorite color of chuck? Or do you not buy into the variety?

I only wear chucks but I've done so my whole life. So when they got popular and trendy and started charging an arm and a leg for em ... I go to the clearance rack at the outlet store and buy what ever is available in my size that's less than 20 bucks :rofl:

I've had some funky colors lol

That was why at times it was almost hilarious if it weren't so sad that my uncle was that way, was like dude have you looked in a mirror? lol

Reminds me of the Dave Chappelle skit where he's a blind black man that thinks he's white and joins the KKK lol
