Ok thanks, wasn't sure. Just logged 1000 miles on a road trip and wow the gears felt so good on the highway. MPGs were 16-17 mpg doing 65-70 mph on 285/70/17 k02s which didn't improve really, but so much more fun to drive. Downshifting/engine breaking is relevant too.

Just a heads up for anyone getting their regear done soon...bring a torque wrench with you. They overtorqued the fuck out of my lug nuts. I thought that was all sorted out from the other guys who brought it to their attention so I didn’t bother checking right after the install. I decided to check it today and yeah, surprise!

I changed out my rear diff oil and they werent that bad. I think if they used the same impact on the fill/drain bolts, they would’ve damaged something. They were on there pretty tight though.

I've read through all 81 pages and only seen a few results after some time on the gears

Do you want an opinion of the gears or the service of the installation?

Both would be nice, but more importantly the quality of their work.

Overall, I'm personally happy. I had a great time at the shop and no issues with my truck. I didn't have any issues that others have reported (Also note, 60+ people have got their gears done with no issues. Only a handful have had issues).

Some people have had leaking CV's, some seeping rear diffs, some overtoruqed lug nuts, and some overtorqued drain/fill bolts. However, none of us have had gear related issues, and I find that to be the important part. Quality of work I'd say is 7.5 or 8/10. Room for improvement and being more precise by not using an impact, but I don't exactly blame them since every other shop I've been to uses an impact with a torque stick.

    For the price, it's unbeatable.

Best part is, they've taken care of any issue. Would I do it again? Hell yeah.

Thank you sir, my truck has 400 miles on it i just don't want ANY issues.
A professional shop should use a torque wrench on everything. I hope the hell they properly torque the diffs ring and pinion and etc.
It just sounds like volume is more important than quality.
A leaky CV seal sounds like a reused one. I just replaced my needle bearing with the bushing with 250 miles on the OD and still replaced the $10 OEM seal. No leaks
