Depending where you got the loan from they might charge you a fee for paying off your loan early so you’ll probably lose whatever profit if that’s the case

    I put my 2020 OR DC/MT in w/ 1,200 miles and got offer of $36,000 (MSRP ~37,000)

(but my ZIP is out of service so I'd have to drive 1,000 miles to turn it in)

I have a coworker who bought a corvette on Carvana. He said it was easy, super professional & would do it again. I know you're selling but yes, everything I've heard is that Carvana is totally legit.

What the heck- the carvana offer on my truck is like $3k more than I bought it out the door new like 8 months ago. It’s super tempting since I work from home and it just sits in the garage!

Always good experiences with Carvana (2 sold, 2 bought). Not the cheapest place to buy, but they pay good prices when you’re selling and buying has always been very straightforward and convenient.

Edit: Sales were easy. Dropped it off. They took a look. Signed the papers and they handed me a check. The one was arguably not “perfect” condition, but they didn’t fuss with reducing the condition.

I'm like if you had a 2019 that had problems and you were not happy with it why would you go and buy another 2019. But I can believe they would offer you that but it's like the dealership on trade in and that it's all about if they dont find anything that needs to be fixed and would be deducted from there offer. This is my 4th Tacoma and loved them all so sorry to here you had problems with your other 1

Yes. I sold two leased vehicles to them (Socal). Easy process. They come to you either with a flat bed or in some cases, the rep will uber/lyft to your desired location. You sign the release and the funds are released to you or your financial institution. In my case, I had positive equity which was instantly deposited electronically to my account. Sold one to Vroom too and it was the same painless process.

So basically what saying is kids nowadays dont appreciate if you get them a car especially an older car? If that's the case I say have them work for it. Since when do our kids feel like they deserve everything handed to them? Working for your own car builds character and instills good work ethic. Or is this me?

My parents bought both my older brothers cars actually two of them for both brothers. I had to take out a bank loan first car was an 07 Passat got sick of driving a car. Was making decent money and lived at home (19) and took a loan for a 2010 sport Tacoma I was so proud of myself I took care of that truck like it was a baby. (For a while). Took a loan for a 2019 OR brand new last year. My point is this is what taught me to take care of my shit. 26 now and everything I’ve owned gets well taken care of if it weren’t my money can’t say it would be the same case. Great gesture to buy your kid a car but I got better values out of doing it my own. My .02 cents.
