The wife added the “Chicks dig scars” mod last night when she came home from hunting. I would have preferred she just brought back a deer. *we live in Germany where we can hunt year-round*
I can’t be too upset, however, since she already ordered me a Decked System that we are waiting on the slow boat across the Atlantic. Any bro’s/sisters-in-arms here in Germany, send me a PM for info for the German Decked dealer. He is open to ordering the Tacoma-specific setup for the Americans over here. 471A23AF-9832-4A8E-B733-C372862B8C1D.jpg

He was referencing the OEM vinyl floor, or at least I think so. I looked around at a couple aftermarket options but what I was really after was making sure the carpet had extra deadener attached to it. That's why I ended up with stockinteriors.com, since for an extra $60, I could add a mass backing to the carpet.

I’ll be honest if I didn’t have the punisher logo I probably would’ve taken it off by now but I like it so much I don’t think I’ll part with it. Just upgrade it in a year or two when it starts to fall apart

They go really well together, I like that I can still open the cover in the front and back!

There was a decent gap with the original weather sealing. I added additional weather stripping, but it has not rained in the last few days, looks pretty well sealed!

Top bars come off by removing a small bolt on each side and popping the bars out. Very easy I'd say!

After countless hours, ditching the metra kit and buying a Scosche, it’s finally in. Pioneer 2660 NEX. Fitment is still iffy, but I’m over it... maintained backup camera as well, which is cool

2.5" OME lift, Fox 2.5 coil overs, all pro expo leafs, ubolt flip kit w/ upgraded bump stops, 1.25" wheel spacers, 16" Bronze KMC Impact OL wheels, 295/75/r16 Nitto grapplers, beige Softopper, Brute force front bumper w/smittybilt winch, RCI rear bumper, caliraised rock sliders, TRD IFS skid plate custom swingout tailgate w/spare tire mount, TC bed stiffeners, Magnum force CAI, KC spotlights, tacomabeast headlights, rear seat molle panel odds and ends, hi lift, MESO interior lights, and a fuck load of patches… more planned for later.
Well, I put on new uca's, ball joints and outer tie rods last Saturday thinking I was gonna get new tires and alignment on Sunday. Wheel works (where I was supposed to get my tires installed) was shut down due to covid and didn't ship my tires over to Firestone for my rescheduled appointment. Simple tire has sent out a new set of tires which will be here Saturday. So I've been driving around without an alignment for a week in which time I've thrown an ABS light, a tire sensor light, and now my battery is dead.... :annoyed::bananadead:

Don’t do it. figure out another way. I couldn’t get the broken extractor out, and drills just skipped on it and it’s still there. Or maybe just get an extractor set not made from chinesium?

Yeah I know it's not going to be a fun thing to tackle but I want to give it a shot with the extractor. I'm pretty sure mine are US-made.
I figure worst case if something goes terribly wrong and the drain plug remains stuck, I can use my fluid pump to stick down in the diff, drain the old goo out and put new goo into the diff.

Beautiful! All ya gotta do is take off the stickers, but leave the screen protector on.. and turn off the radio beeps function (feels less "aftermarket" if u turn off the beeps)

Go for it! now i’m thinkin that wven if you got an extractor stuck in the drain theres enough surface area to weld a nut on if you can if it goes sour.

Trimmed 4 inches off of the front OEM mud flaps. Back are 10" (standard) from the body. Fronts are now 8". Happy with the result. Used a razor blade and piece cut off served as a template for the rounded corners. Some use a Heat Gun, and that would have helped IMO. Note to trolls: not interested in "just take them off" comments.

    Bummer:

How hard was the UCA removal/ re-install? Specifically
breaking the ball joint from the spindle? and
getting the long bolt to slip past the body?

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

I did the same. Unfortunately, I had to mod them more so the 33s didn’t rub on up travel. They still keep a lot of crap from flinging up the side of the truck.
