No shit, I’ve been running Mobil 1 synthetic 5W30 from Costco. The additional wear could be attributed to my supercharger I added halfway through the oil cycle too.

Rotella T6 is designed for diesel trucks and has more zinc in it. Good for the engine, good for the supercharger.

Trying to find the oil reports I have on the Ram. Never did one for the Tacoma nor for the 4runner. Maybe I'll send one out from that the next oil change.

Bumper cover is fubared, fender is bent in, hood corner is tweaked, needs new headlight. Best I can tell just by looking at it. Looks fine under the hood though.

I really do feel bad for the other driver though. It sure would suck to be in highschool and have my insurance go way up. And her car got way more damage than mine. Some lessons are best learned the hard way though I guess.

There was two roads to turn right onto at this stupid intersection. I think she saw my signal and assumed I was gonna turn at the first one and pulled out in front. I was going for the second turn off however.

Dumb woman who wasn't paying attention and trying to pick up her phone plowed into the back of my truck. I could hear her phone ringing through the bluetooth stereo when we pulled over.

She had a relatively new SUV, it needed a new hood, bumper cover, and headlights. Meanwhile I couldn't find any damage on my truck at all, except for the 'C' in 'TacomaWorld.com' was scratched from the impact. That steel factory bumper and my hitch is no joke, I think my tow hitch took the brunt of it.

Found the last one from the Ram back in 2018. This shows 3 different tests from the same truck I had done over time with them.

If you rearend my truck, your vehicles pretty much guaranteed to be totaled. My bumper is 3/8" thick steel. I backed into a tree a few years back and put the slightest bow in the thin steel step bar thats welded to it. 1030180840a.jpg

Heard y'all are going through some serious heat over there, how is it?

My friend cooked cookies on his dashboard in Pheonix.

Saw 113 for outside temp in the 4Runner driving home today. Doesn't feel that bad tho. The sun doesn't seem to hurt today like it does some days.

At least it’s dry heat, can’t imagine what it would be with humidity.

YES! I never realized how much of a difference that actually makes until being here for 2 summers now. The dry totally makes it less hotter than it is. Add humidity and it would be oppressive. I lived in Singapore for 5 years, I know what hot and humid is, year round.

Singapore eh? I've heard nothing except how clean it is over there. Think chewing gum is illegal?

I was there from from 1984 to 1989, thru high school. It was stupid clean then but they hadn't outlawed chewing gum yet. It is now, I know that. Totally changed from when I was there last.

All I know about Singapore is that its a dream of mine to someday fly first class on a Singapore Airlines flight. Their first class cabins look amazing.
