    Changed the plugs

Drivers and passengers side all looked the same. All denso.

    Passenger side:

Also started the long overdue seat and carpet cleaning.

Dont really have any good before and after bits I pulled out the passenger seat and cleaned it in the A/C. Pulled 4 tanks of DARK upholstery cleaner and hot water out of it. Has more to go!

My welder crapped out in the middle of glueing my frame back together. Trailered it to the gf's to use hers. First time I've had it behind the tow rig. Gotta say, pretty sweet having matching tow rig and trailer queen haha

I just browsed through the 3rd gen forum, complaining about electronics and such, sheesh. While we’re here talking about rolling our trucks and filler panels being found a year later.

    1st gen; best gen.

Is it still solid? Mine looked like similar but was still strong. At least the driver side. Other rusted and broke going over train tracks. Damn shock banging the bottom of my bed. I would’ve laughed if I hadn’t been so mad lol

Lol. They're both seemingly solid, but I want to reinforce them and see if I can do a better job than Toyota at making this frame cleanable, which might be easier if I just moved them.

Came home little early this week and made some more progress preparing for my 4x4 swap.
Front differential cleaned, prepped, and painted with POR 15

Also have all of my parts to do the tundra brake upgrade tomorrow, but first needed to check fitment into wheels that will be going on the truck once 4x4 swap is done.

Pulled some ADD spindles off of a 2wd 4runner a few weeks ago. I was able to press the hubs and bearings out today and got the spindles prepped. Plan on painting them with POR 15 in the morning and hopefully press in new bearings and manual hubs in the evening after I'm done installing new tundra brakes

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Lookin fantastic.

How far along are you in gathering the rest of the parts? That took a while for me, but I think the search for the parts was one of the best parts of the swap. And I learned a lot about the swap during that process.

More progress on Satochi grille today. Posted a bunch of images in my build thread. Tomorrow it gets paint.

Only big thing I'm missing is a rear drive shaft and need to order Manual CVs or find some to rebuild.

I have a J-Shift transfer case and the automatic transmission, unfortunately I am going to have to swap the output shaft into my A340E because the donor is pre 2003.

I plan on changing out most of the seals on like the diff and transfer case.

The rest is small stuff like wiring 4x4 light and acquiring an interior trim piece for the jshift.
