I "think" what I'll do is wait for a sale, buy a rear and a hybrid front, and take a road trip and pick it all up.

Most all swingouts can be removed and installed quite easily. I’ve removed mine a couple times now. Just keep the bearing chases greased and you’re fine.

Nah, doctor told me the spine is made out of some shit that heals. I fractured the t7 and something else, one in my lower neck and one in my upper back. No more pain now, but after a long ride its more sore than usual. Before the pandemic I was finally able to do squats with the bar across my back again. You should be fine. Just make sure to fully heal before doing stupid shit

If I decide to go standard high clearance instead of swing out, it'll be whomevers cheapest. I like the ATH stuff, but price and features win out. I really want to buy a welder and learn to weld, so maybe that'll happen instead

I'm happy as can be with my Brute Force bumper, Billy is busy and a one man show so you are probably going to wait a bit but I was able to get the front and high-clearance rear with the swing out for $2500 so he is budget friendly for sure.

It's about the same for the CBI. And CBI is arguably way better looking.

My ATH high clearance bumper was ~1800ish shipped? Then again, single swing arm.

Fair. Full disclosure, I've never looked at HC bumpers with swing outs. Not really my thing. I may go HC some day, but for now, my RCI hidden hitch bumper is sufficient for my needs.

I always liked how the ARC-1 HC bumper followed the body lines, but I can't get over their GIANT logo. Also, I'm not sure if they make a swing out version.

The logo also annoys me. At least the BAMF logo is cool.

Just saw that. Yeah logo is huge. HC is great. Kinda sucks you lose your BSM, but you forget about it real quick. I turned mine off for a month to see how it was like before pulling the trigger on one first.

I've been looking into swingouts, my 295 stuffed in the oem location will be a bitch to get out if on the trail. My question to those with experience is what are the pro's/con's for single so vs dual swingouts not high clearance? I've been looking into Mobtown and CBI... Any others that I'm missing out on?

Those are long gone with my RCI bumper. I wasn't happy about losing them, but as you said, I don't really miss them. My opinion was, I've driven 20+ years without them, I think I'll manage the next 20+ just fine. Also, I found that they were malfunctioning half the time, due to rain, mud, snow, etc... so ultimately, no loss.
