    Hey all. First time Tacoma purchaser, long time Tacoma admirer here. I'm looking to buy a 1st gen or early 2nd gen, and was wondering if anyone had advise on good places to look outside the ordinary cars.com, auto trader, kbb. Don't mind traveling to a neighboring state for a good one, but I'm curious if anyone had issues purchasing/transporting back to PA as well. Thanks in advance!

    Any Tacoma from the rust free states is going to need Tender Loving Care to the frame!!

    If your not aware of the frame issues they don`t like being exposed to winter chemicals !!

    I have bought several vehicles from out of State with no Problems Texas , Alabama, New York and Michigan

    Texas and Alabama the seller allowed me to use their plates and my insurance to get home the others were hauled on a trailer

    Nice that will make you a great tractor Adam. I bought a new Cub two years ago, love the smoothness of Kohler motors. I had to adjust the rear deck wheels, didn't suit me. Hey don't forget to remove the tyraps on the front!

    Yea I'm definitely happy I got the V-Twin instead of the single cylinder. The single also had fuel injection and no actual throttle cable. That just seems like a disaster waiting to happen. I hadn't mowed in almost 2 weeks and the grass was wet and it didn't bog down once. It also seemed to use less fuel than the old 13.5 HP Briggs in my old mower. The only issue is there is not a whole lot of clearance for a longer oil filter due to the steering linkage. There's about 3" to play with (heh) before it hits. Found a couple options that should work. The OEM filter is way overpriced for what's inside. Also somehow shoehorned the thing in the garage infront of my GTI. Can't believe it actually fit. There is no more room for anything in there :rofl:
