Right, and silica is sand, the same thing that glass is made out of. So they obviously have a point being super concerned about aerosol glass, even though it isn't. Gypsum is a rock, so they were concerned for the sheetrock trade, but it turns out in actual practice it's not much of an issue.

 

I have one of those in my center console, glove box, and the top tray thing for the center console. So far, worth all like 4 bucks they cost

 

Think if it flaps fast enough it will get out of there and can fly back to the pavement?

 

I bet those eco tires really helped it get out.

Does anyone know if I apply the adhesion promoter today, then spray the raptor In the morning..does it still work correctly? Or is there only a couple hours while it works as an effective adhesion?

thinking if I can do the promoter tonight will be faster in morning before I head out to hit the bike park.

 

What does the adhesion promoter say? I think when I used the adhesion stuff in the past, I did it all on consecutive days, letting it dry before moving to the next step.

 

It says to let it dry fully for 20 minutes before applying. I will re-read but I didn't see a "if you don't apply by" direction. I can always reach out to them I suppose.

edit: I called, didn't pick up so I just emailed. Will see.

 

My brother in law does shoreline reconstruction on Eastern Long Island and sends me all sorts of hilarity from the Hamptons.

 

Gloves can help if you use them correctly, I glove up the right hand before going into the store and just make sure to have my keys and debit card in my left pocket, then pick up stuff or touch doors with right hand.

Buddy of mine was doing that type of thing at our tournament last year and yeah it would be stupid, plus he was doing nothing but that anyway and using his own materials and tools.

Sorry I know this is an old post but did you ever go to Off Road Elements? If you check their Instagram there are a bunch of pictures of Tacoma’s one of which belongs to the owner. I’ve been thinking about going to them also.

 

Any of you folks, particularly Western MA, driven the Sucker Pond road outside of Bennington VT? Would you take stock trucks down it?

I think a stock truck could do it. Would help to not be on stock tires. Would it be friendly? I mean....maybe not
