Your 'I Just Bought A New Taco' Dealership Photo

Hey look, a newish member starting a thread (on a Friday no-less, I must need my head examined) but here goes!

Maybe it's a regional thing but where I am in So.Cal. it's pretty typical for car dealers to take your picture when you buy a new car. Maybe it's so they can track you down if your financing doesn't go through, maybe it's so they have something to show at the end of the year Christmas Party. Who knows but it's what we do here. So here's mine from when I bought my new Taco last April. Note that it was cold (by So.Cal. standards, I mean it was like 60F). I'm wearing work boots because I'd come straight from work and because I wanted to know I could drive my new truck in boots, since I wear them probably 80% of the time (they're really comfy!)

Anyways, here's my pic. Anyone else want to share theirs?

I’m also in SoCal but my dealer did not do anything special when it comes to taking pictures. Here’s the one that I took.

Same. I think only one dealer that we have been to took a pic. I do DL all the pics off of the listings though.

Driving off the lot...Jan of '19...great dealership experience...65K miles now...I've been very pleased.

Out with the old in with the new; this was day one of 3rd gen Oct 17;

 

and I thought 25k in 14 months was a lot

 

It is...I'm just a heavy driver (hate to fly)- and we have 5 cars (4 drivers)...LOL...we own a small horse farm in the middle of nowhere - so I have to drive everywhere!!

 

Picked up my 2020 TRD OR Manual just a few months back!

 

In the dealer parking lot before I even test drove it, was pretty sure I would make the deal though...

 

lol i usually do. but i honestly dont remember taking a pic with this taco. i do know i was pressed for time (wanted to get my windows tinted), and when my sales guy tried to hop in the pass seat to give me a "new owners orientation" i gave the wink and the thumb. save it for the next sale stud. this aint my first new vehicle. and they knew. i buy new vehicles periodically, its my bad habit lol.

edit: if i do have a new pic then itll probably be this one. this was a couple days later if i remember correctly.
