    My experience with the VA has been night and day in one city (big city) vs. another town (smaller town). In the big city, you spend 8 hours at the hospital just to talk to someone. There are people laying all over the floor, it's hot as hell, probably one of the most miserable places you can go. In the smaller town, I use an outpatient clinic and hospital, and both are better than what I had through private healthcare. The people for the most part are nice, the facilities are nice, not overcrowded, etc.

    Is the general public ready for that? I really don't think so.

    The doctor I had in Modesto (smaller city) was terrible. The people I saw in Palo Alto was not too bad, but it was sooooo busy, like you mentioned. Of course that place was a regional VA hospital or something. It was huge. I changed to the Southern AZ one after the VA system in AZ got in trouble and it's been the best VA experience I've had, almost on par with private practice. The doc is good, the labs and prescription stuff is super easy (albiet crowded at times...).

    You do have a point about the general public being ready for it. I think the military gets you prepared for how the system is. The general public will take years to get used to it.

    Be very, very, very careful. I never short. If I want to I do it with put options instead of actual borrowed short shares.

    Just set a trailing buy stop (wrap your head around that) for 10

    You'll be all right as long as you have one of those donut seat pads...just in case.
    Another option is to watch for the hottest stocks of the day on Robin Hood and short those around 10:15 AM

    Pretty much me and NVDA. If I had more cash on hand I would have loaded up on calls when it was down $6.50 an hour ago. lol

    My new, new plan is to write a covered call that gets exercised. Then keep that cash in m y account and write a cash secured put for the same strike the following week. First I need to get the calls assigned which ain't gonna happen this week.
