Thought about either that or maybe the assorted kit at harbor freight.

The kit may be handy to keep in your trail box idk I’d maybe just find a pin that does what you need and get two so you have an extra

We bought 2 7 gallon water cans before I bought the bumper they are just too big. I will save them for longer trips

I thought about it for inside the bed. The one on the swingout is done and just don't feel like fooling with it

O, I figured for the larger cans you could mount somewhere/somehow on the tongue of the trailer. Since they are larger, use them solely for camp water.

That's what they're for. I'm going to fab a LP mount for the tongue. I have been considering a poly tank for under the camper with a 12v pump to carry more water but for now the cans work. We can do a 2-3 day trip with about 6 gallons of water if no showers. The showers eat up quite a bit of water even being very conservative. If I could mount a 20 gallon tank or larger under the rear of the camper it would also offset some of the weight I added to the front with all the steel. Lots of thinking to do.

Well, today is mother's day and I am about 12hrs away from my parents so a quick phone call was about all I could do. That and make sure the gift was delivered earlier in the week.

As for my wife, she just wanted to rest and get a nap in the afternoon. So after spending breakfast with her and watching a movie together I headed out to the garage to allow her some piece and quiet.

Still haven't received the table top piece, but I am hoping/praying the physical measurements they posted are accurate. With that I started fabbing the framework for the tabletop. Luckily I had a piece of styrofoam that was the same thickness and allowed me to cut it down to the advertised size of the piece I am waiting on.

So here is the end result before paint and with the styrofoam substituting for visual effect.

    And folded down

Got it painted and ready to go now. So the swingout project should be completed.

    Hopefully it all works...

Got it all painted, the table surface mounted/installed and the jerry can and spare mounted in their positions.

Then last night worked on completing another long overdue and often procrastinated project.

Added lighting to the bed rack to make it more friendly when camping and cooking.

So now the tent is ready to be installed back where it belongs. Just have to find someone I can sweet talk in to coming by to lift that heavy bastard so I don't blow out my back again like I did when I removed it...

Probably leave my house around 9... not real sure... haven't Google mapped it in a while. Think it may be a hair over 3 hrs.
