You fit in right away then. None of us know what the hell is going on in here either. Yea, it's just active enough to make it easier to keep up than a lot of threads. Some are hundreds of post a day. Makes it insane sometimes.

Which is why I have alerts turned off on all threads I follow ,don’t need the constant interruptions.

well, depending on how handy you are, they sell the sleeve kits on eBay with the cutters needed for around $200, you'd still need to pull the head to do it but would be way less $$$$ than paying for it to be done, alternatively if you pull the head and strip all the valves and stuff out of the affected cylinder, a machine shop could weld up the spark plug hole and re-machine it. or you could just pay a shop to do it all but thats like a $3000 job.

if a plug blew out, we use a heli-coil, new plug, prolly a coil, install of the heli-coil is the tricky bit..ask me how I know Brian.... :anonymous:

That’s what is getting done .When it was repaired by Ford when it was an Utz co. owned truck it supposedly got at least 1 new complete head according to what I was told but who knows .They we’re suppose to supply me with all it’s service records but that didn’t happen.

I don’t have time to do this. This truck has to be on the road 5 days a week or I can’t make any money as it is being down for 2 or 3 days is gonna cost me some serious cash ,the tow and repair bill plus renting another truck .Time is money when your 100% commission based income.

My son used the kits when his spark plug blew out. Never pulled the head.
