Exactly, it just isn't worth it to me to sell it. Too sentimental and I have maintained the entire truck myself and know its history. It is funny trying to explain that to people I know. I normally get responses like "you know they sell trucks that are 4 wheel drive"

I bought a battery for a quad I rebuilt from Batt + and it was definitely a rebadged high end battery. I was shocked they wanted so much for a little quad battery, but soon realized how high end it was.
Batt+ store was just really close, normally wouldn't have spent 80 bucks on a lil batt. But if you don't wanna wait, like I didn't, they get their money

Yeah, why not drop $40,000 on a truck, pay full coverage insurance, watch your annual registration/tax bill skyrocket? Then you can have a truck that you can barely work on yourself and are scared to have any fun with. Makes sense.

I sold my pre runner for a 4wd. She was a great truck. I dont think i could have done the swap, no patience what so ever. Lol. Reason im glad i did is because the new truck has the v6. That 4cyl was a dog on the hills

What tool set did you use to swap the bearings? I had to replace a spindle and it's got an older bearing in and I have pretty new ones in my on spindle. Would like to swap it but don't have a press. Looks like you used an impact so curious to know what you did there.

They may be more comfortable to drive and ride but damn I love our simplicity and durability (and looks).

TBF I’d take a rust-free ‘84-88 over my current truck any day. Toyota’s pickup is getting uglier with each face lift the older it gets.

Got the new tires on the T4R limited wheels. Just need to paint the center caps and install them.
