What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Mega castor. Solo lcas and SPC ucas set at +2. Wow.

 

Why do they have castor so uneven? 1 degree off side to side won’t do well for ride quality

 

Yea mines off by close to degree iirc between sides and it drifts to one side when u let go of the wheel. Gets annoying on long drives. Somethings prob bent somewhere

I found the clock delete at a local scrap yard here in NC but I say just find some thin plastic and JB Weld it from the inside and it’ll look the same

 

Finished up my 1st bumper build. Came out super beefy. Still think I want a rap around so may sell this one and start another.

Also cleaned up all the leftover nuts and bolts from the part outs.

 

One down near the pan and one on the intake runners.

So what’s the plan with all the parts from the old LT truck? I figured you were going to swap the to the double cab.

Just got the supercharger before and after dual temperature gauge setup too.
Will be interesting to see the difference

 

I think I see a spec of dirt on the passenger side firewall. Full detail is in order.

 

It's like they designed these to rust.

 

What part of this great country has that truck been hanging out? Looks like a Northeast frame.

 

Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Michigan and 14 years in Yukon, Canada.


Pretty sure most of the damage was Michigan, they don't use salt on the roads in the Yukon.

 

Planned obsolescence?

 

Nah, they wouldn't have done the frame replacement program. I think they just aren't used to salt.


Not sure what's up with the newer ones though..

 

It really makes no sense, but they must've not lost money on the replacements or the problem would've been fixed.

 

I almost want to suggest they look at American automakers for an example...buuut....they aren't much better.

 

But they're supposed to look to them as to what not to do.
