I was just quoted 32,800 for 2018 TRDOR with 19,000 miles. The dealer offered me $26k two months ago when I was thinking about a 4Runner.

Is everyone’s truck stock for the offers or are you pricing it with aftermarket?

Carvana told me they can only make offer's by the vin, ie what was installed at the factory. Today the offer went down to 34990. My truck does have options (MGM door edge guards, door sill protectors, led bed lights, Glass break Sensor, mud guards, predator steps, roof rack). Seems very odd they can't adjust their offers accordingly.

Another test for S&G. We have a local Carvana vending machine here.
My 2015 DC OR 4x4; 70k miles, great cond. Gave 29kOTD 2 years ago, Carvana offer was 23k. I’d think that Is about accurate.

If you are making out with more than you paid I would cash out.

Holy sh!t this is tempting. My offer is 37,394 for my DCLB with premium and tech and ~8,500 miles. I think I paid 39,100 (before TTL) new about a year and a half ago.

Sold my 2016 4Runner to them as they had the highest offer by far. Only caveat was no local location in Seattle so I had to drive it down to Sacramento. I was also buying a Shelby GT350 from them so it gave me an excuse to do one more camping trip out of the 4Runner and get to experience all the hootin' and hollerin' of the GT350 through the various mountain passes on my way back home.

It was an awesome trip and the whole ordeal was easy and efficient.

I also sold my wife's leased HR-V to Vroom and we got $2000 in equity back from that sale. Didn't even require pictures of the vehicle. They just sent a trailer out, I signed the bill of lading, and 48 hours later a check for the equity showed up in our mailbox. They did all the back-end documentation so it was seriously as easy as you could possibly fathom.

I have no idea if these companies will stay afloat in the future, but right now they're the real deal and they're fucking awesome options if the numbers work out for you.

I entered mine ‘as stock’ even though it’s not. I wouldn’t let $4k of removable mods go for free.

If carvana offered me that much I’d take it in a heartbeat but unfortunately they only offer me close to 32k. 2019 trd off road tech and premium package. Mines a short bed though and has more miles. Not 7k difference though just for mileage difference.

I just tried this out for the hell of it. Carvana offered $39,125 for my 2019 trd sport 4x4 with 5400 miles. I got it a year ago for just under $37k out the door.

The only problem is I don’t know what I’d get to replace it with new Tacoma inventory being what it is. I kind of want a full size but I don’t trust American brands (bad Ford experience a few years ago) and the Tundra gets such shitty gas mileage...

Ok so went to their site and selected yes to vehicle modifications and off road tires. Price offered was 28k roughly. Did same thing but selected no modifications and regular wheels and tires the new offer was 35,398.

Moral of story don’t modify your truck then sell to carvana :). Good news is I have everything leftover to return to stock anyway if it would raise the price over 7k :)

Well...we payed $32K for ours - here's Carvana's offer. Problem is, then what? It's not like you can go get another one. Look at that local market adjstment - $5K!!

It's a seller's market right now. The point of selling now is to upgrade down the line or if you want to sit on cash for a bit until manufacturers start pumping more units out. I was just told by another dealer that they would offer more than Carvana for my Tacoma. They did try to low ball me at first. I'll have to wait and see what their offer is tomorrow. If I get a better offer I might take it and wait for a 2021 model later in the year.

JUGGAR, yea thats usually how it goes, main dealer lots/carvana/ Vroom(or whatever its called) tend to only sell newer used (less than 5 yrs), the rest goes to auction or billy bobs (finance you on the spot, regardless of your felony's, multiple accidents) car sales.. LOL

newdles, that is what i selected also was the Mods.(just bumpers, rack, sliders) so it probably lowered mine down a couple $K. Modified vehicles are always a hard seller. Shoot, i wouldnt trust to buy from a dealer somebody elses 12" block lift w/ tires sticking way out of the fender wells. So , i do have a good chance of selling my all original '73 Corona(except for the paint) then! :D..... Na, its a keeper!

The dealer (Autonation) that said they could beat it yesterday replied today with a lousy 33k offer. (1k more than the original). Carvana is definitely paying top dollar in the central Texas area. Vroom offered 32.5k.
