Nice. I lived in Old Town for 26 years. Their factory store was almost as addicting as Taco modding.

Someone recommended to me to get black lugs and I am glad they did so passing it along.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Boom. Hammered out another mod. Tailgate latch letters from TVDvinyldecals.

Quit rolling your eyes, I say it counts. This wasn't so easy for Mr. Shakeyhands, you know.

But seriously, it's a tiny detail but makes a noticeable difference. I recommend it.

Also got a Coverking dash mat. Not sure how I feel about it yet. For now I just tossed it on top of the dash hoping it will relax a bit.

@Castle 4 and @Tacospike sorry, I meant the huge Toyota symbol that rides on y'alls grilles. I think it has TSS or something. I thought there was a member who was either making those color matches or tinted.

Thanks for the recommendation. i did look at black lug nuts but it was just too much black for me, so i stuck with the chrome ones to break it up a bit.

My six month long multiple times a day search for a used canopy has finally ended.

Got a steal on this bad boy. Dirty as fuck and a few places with nicks in the paint. Don't care, love it.

Finally get to use my sleeping platform I built with a buddy in February.
    upload_2020-7-31_17-57-5.jpg

Cleaned it up some inside (haven't washed yet), and debadged it.

    upload_2020-7-31_17-54-27.jpg

Now to figure out what to do so the foot platform is usable.

To make that plug pretty you can get a flush mount plug and wire that in. I did this for my soft topper since I put it up and down and dont want the wire just hanging around.

That looks great. Thanks for the idea. Got a link for the mount?

If you dont want to solder anything or crimp wires, here is one that will just plug into the plug you have already

These are great. I was poking around trying to figure out how I was going to wire it up, when I realized the connector on there was a cut in half trailer harness end. I had one laying around, cut it in half and was on my way. Love it when you don't have to get anything to make something work.

I may do something with one of the ones you linked down the road. Thanks for the links!

Pretty much everything I do on my truck starts out with a hacked together version. If it works well and I like it, then I spend the extra money on new real parts to make it proper. I never spend money on something you may not even like.
