It's funny trying to order them at the tire shop...'you know these are trailer tires right? They aren't going to fit your truck'

    Thanks for that.

Have decided on the RESZ fabrication arms; they utilize poly on both ends so no dealing with greasing this and that often.

Went to check out and the boxes can't be filled in to place an order

Pirelli actually makes a good motorcycle tire. I've run many of them on both my track bikes and street bikes.

I always ran Dunlops and Bridgestone tires on my bikes. I know Pirelli makes a decent tire though, it's passed over a lot for sport stuff nowadays, though they used to be the shit.

    Great minds think alike.

My highschool machining teacher had one and I thought it was the single greatest invention ever. I really need to pick up another to bring to work. Dunno why I torture myself with that Milwaukee POS every day. Been installing a ton of air/steam pipes these last few weeks, and that Milwaukee tape will not stay hooked onto round pipe at all. Or when I need to measure across ceiling beams and you start to extend the tape out across and it breaks over after 3 feet. Super frustrating.

I've run most moto tires that are good. Michelin, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Pirelli. Have Dunlops on the KTM now and will be going with Pirelli again when I get around to changing them.

CB antenna mount/ditch light bracket installed. Bit of a pain but not too bad.

LOL!! I have a few "wheelers" at my local discount tire who would just look at my truck and then say, "you know these wont fit right?" I would tell them I have a sawzall, we all laugh and they bolt that shit on there. Same place balanced my beadlocks without issue as well despite them having "not for onroad use" stamped on evrey surface of them. Love that place!

Make sure you ground the paint off the bottom, it needs to ground. I had to grind the paint off my CBI ditch bracket.

Or at least grind off enough for the bolt head to complete the ground at least

Yup, I know. Don't have the antenna yet, the CB isn't even installed either. Just wanted to get this little job done and out of the way.

Come to think about it, I dont think I have ever purchased a tape measure, they just appear in drawers or a tool box.

I have a distinct memory of buying only 1. I still have it and it is great but my go-to that's in my main box at home.... no idea where the hell it came from.

In other news, I found an old Rigid electric pipe threader in storage at work. Freaking lifesaver. No more hand threading all the black iron pipe.
