When I was 17/18 I would come home totally shit faced, don't know how I made it on a skateboard most of the time. After I got home, I had to puke bad. I opened the front door and lean over the railing and let it go. (It was closer than the bathroom)
The plant below lasted maybe 4 months, but my escapades went on for a year, every Friday and Saturday after getting off of work and going to a party .

It took a while to get past that, and over the years I've built up an extreme tolerance.

I like to think of it as my super power :burp:

This past fall (football season) I lost my taste for alcohol. I have had maybe six beers this year, one at a time, and they just didn't do anything for me. Just out of the blue...

Oh that wasn't the first.. nor the last.
We were allowed to have alcohol at home on holidays from the age of 13/14. As long as you weren't going anywhere, have at it.

It turned out to be easier not to drink than to drink for me.
Plus domestic mass produced beer really started messing with my digestive system.
Now I can drink 5 to.7 percent craft ipas all day long and still function. Gotta drink good beer, not that shit they sell by the 12pk or larger in the grocery stores.

I've drank maybe 10 beers in the last 28 years, they were all....not good. The taste for alcohol has left the building.

IPA's must be a regional taste? I've asked several people in my area if they like them and every person has said no. They like the generic stuff around here.
Btw; visited my new neighbors earlier, she was drinking a Bloody Mary and man o man did it look good. But I declined:pout:

I am not fond of 98 percent of the ipa's or what they call/say it one.
I have a particular one like from el segundo brewing .
The other's I like are full of hoppy goodness.

Life happens sooner in the big city. A many night I would fall asleep with one foot on the floor trying to stop the bed from spinning. In all those years I only never made it home twice. The one time I don't really count though. It was a Robert Plant concert in Philly and things got way outta control.

Could be regional. I see many different varieties around here. I think the stores cater to the tourists as I see most locals with Bud Light, PBR's, and other domestics.
