These are great. I was poking around trying to figure out how I was going to wire it up, when I realized the connector on there was a cut in half trailer harness end. I had one laying around, cut it in half and was on my way. Love it when you don't have to get anything to make something work.

I may do something with one of the ones you linked down the road. Thanks for the links!

Pretty much everything I do on my truck starts out with a hacked together version. If it works well and I like it, then I spend the extra money on new real parts to make it proper. I never spend money on something you may not even like.

    Thanks!
Used 1/8”x1.5 aluminum stock, Cut 8” wide, the 1.5” covers the holes in the headliner for the grab handles. 1/4x20-1” long cap screws and 1/4x20” jack nuts (sorry, said rivnut by mistake previously)
Once you finish the brackets you’ll have to cut about 1” off the large tube of the rack for it to swing up into the bracket.

Elvis played the Houston Astrodome February of 1970 with the rodeo and he was not fat, he was a lean mean music machine! He also played there in March of 74 and he was not fat then either! He really wasn't get to be fat until the last year or two before he died August 16 1977!

I guess everyone has a different opinion of what is fat, and he wasn't as lean as in 70, but I have seen video of the concert. I wouldn't call him fat by any means! :argue:

    Nope.

    ahhh.. yeah---Ep!

I had an '01 Tacoma. It was a SR5/Off-Road. It was considered top of the line at the time. The '01 was also the first model year to be double cab.

I would say that the SR5/Off-Road package back then is about equivalent to the current 3rd gen OR package with tech.

Man! The looks I got when I had that for the first year or so. I had one of the first double cab Tacomas around here.

Which colors did you go with on this? Hard to tell if it’s black, dark grey or dark grey, light grey....

Installed the Lomax hard tri-fold cover. GotExhaust and Agricover are both excellent. Cover came with 2 feet less weather stripping than I needed, but I luckily had some of my own. Contacted Agricover and had a replacement weather strip roll sent out to me within 2 hours of my Email.

Have had the planned backups (BD S2 Pro's) in the closet for the past year....too many things going on.

Have been struggling between just throwing them in to the factory bumper caps for a while now, or going with what I really want (Dissent OR bumper ends), but - for now - went with bumpershellz matte black caps and fitting the S2's into those.

A bit of work, but not too bad. Bumper ends off, fitted with S2's and bumpershellz, and back on in all of about 6 hours. At least I've got some backups / camp unloading lights now. Glad to not be dependent on the anemic factory back ups anymore!

Big fan of these BD S2's BTW. Awesome little lights.

Also went retro old school black Kali plates.

Tomorrow will get them landed to the Switchpros 9100, and also get the anytime 12v socket and in cab 110v outlet done... as well as running a couple spares to the ass end for whatever comes in the future.

Next up, BD S2 Pro's cargo light set up. Got an idea I've been brewing on for a while now for those.

Raceline custom machined the offset and wheel lug pattern for this special project. These are real Beadlock wheels 17 x10in and 17x33x12.5 sandtires unlimited. You see this set up is as tall as my 35 BFG. The 10 inch wheel makes the tire taller. I’m so grateful that I’m a Ambassador for Raceline! I’ll be ready for Pismo Beach in a few weeks.. for airtime photo shoot. Cheers
