I had got some just like that on my 2010 silver taco at the time. I was really pissed at the time. Stupid desert brush with dam hypodermic needle points. Got a 20 now and wont be doing that again

Not only a couple pounds of my clear coat and paint are on these tag alders the antenna to my truck is someplace down this road too.

Took me long enough but no more, finally got smart about it and bought myself a present when I turned 60. And built a dog box for the back.

Got my first taste a couple weeks ago down a random forest road, first new vehicle so the screeching of branches against truck was a little tough. I had a blast though and I bought the truck specifically so I could get down those types of roads so no worries here.

First ones always hurt. But I’d rather have fun. I didn’t buy my truck for the next guy to drive it

Thought i was going to get some good scratches on the new paint when backing my smaller boat into an area with lots of brush with long sharp needles. Was surprised the glass coat ceramic treatment done at the dealer really works. Bad news, i sure got some nasty gouges on my arms and legs.

I don't think I am quite ready for that yet.

I need the new truck smell to go away first lol.

I've taken to doing a light cut and polish once a year and making sure I maintain a decent wax. My truck is completely debadged and destickered not because it looks great (I like it) but because it makes working on getting out scratches that much easier.

Grey makes them harder to see right???

I got my first one a few weeks ago. Pissed me off even though I had fun doing it. Would a clear wrap protect the truck or would it just scrape through?

yeah this is what I ended up doing today. Went to Harbor Freight and picked up a rotary polisher for $30 with a coupon and some Meguiar's 105. 20ish minutes of polishing and the scratches are 99% gone. Meguiar's premium synthetic wax is currently drying before I buff it. Most will never be able to tell it had these scratches.
