Ok, thanks. Was thinking along those lines. I couldn’t get clear answer from some local people. Thank you!

I like the rounded corner look but man it sucked trying to do an accent wall in our living room that had a small nook entrance to the master in the middle of that wall.

Re: drain cleaners. They aren’t good for septic systems. There are enzyme treatments that are much better if you insist on going that way.
And while they are diluted to some degree they aren’t the best thing for municipal waste treatment systems.
A lot of drain problems are caused by FOG (fats, oils & grease). These aren’t good for municipal systems either. The advent of garbage disposals has led to a much high FOG load on these systems.

You could remove the drywall return, install a 1x pine wood jamb then trim out with casing, then paint finish.
    Just an option

Little fixer upper. Land is what makes the property.

The article @wilcam47 nails it. The last part of the read describes their temperament, they are docile.
I operate power equipment near them constantly and have never been bothered by them.

Finally finished my backyard landscaping today with my shed install. It was completely barren a year ago when we moved in.
Did everything myself. I’m pretty proud of it.
