Ok so I know I’m picky but when I picked up the truck from the body shop yesterday they were closed. I knew they’d be closed the time I got there so I just told em to leave the key in the truck and I’d pick it up after hours so I didn’t have to leave work too early. Looking at the repairs the truck looked as it should on passenger side doors but the bed looks like something I’d do with my experience in body repairs and paint.

Anyway the body shop waived my deductible so hate to complain but this stood out like a sore thumb looking at it.

Edit - first pic is the side of the bed from factory. Second pic is the other side where there was body work and there are sanding scratches at the leading edge. The pictures don’t do it justice as you can stand up and look at it face to face and it even looks discolored.

Here are two different angles to possibly see it better.

Going from Buck creek in downtown Helena into the cahaba is a good float.

No. Few weeks ago a big storm came through. That morning I was detailing the truck and then the storm came right as I was finishing up. I accidentally left a patio chair close to the truck and it blew the chair down the side of the truck leaving several dents and scratches.

I'd have to go talk with them about that. It sounds like its worse than the picture shows and the 2nd picture looks pretty rough IMO. It's great that they waived the deductible but it doesn't excuse them from doing a professional job.

Yeah I’ll call em Monday. They had the truck 8 business days figured it’d look great when done.

I’d build one for someone else at some point, they would just have to leave me their truck for a couple days.
