Got the raptor liner done today. Compressor was 5 gallon and I think 10 would be great. It did the job but I think ran more than the manual says it prefers

went to the bike park in the morning. Got
My hands on a very nice Santa Cruise. Suckkkks on the slow easy trails but killed it on the big drops. Don’t know if any thunder mountain fans here but it really pulled threw for me on Hollywerd.

I have a 26 hard tail motobecane that thing is fun. Basically I don’t really care about it much it’s cheap so I huck that thing. Haven’t hid thunder mountain I like the small town stuff more. Down in RI area we have Vietnam Swansea Lincoln woods and big river. It’s fun, I feel like the commercial stuff is cool but feels “different”

I've always wanted to ride a quad, but I don't know anyone who currently has one. My cousin had the LT500 when I was a kid which he replaced the piston in it and it was stupid fast. He got run over by it one point. My friends brother had a quad and got run over by it too. In fact, nearly everyone I've known who's had one has been run over by it.

I'd probably end up with the same fate, but it looks like it would be fun. I hit a tree with a snowmobile when I was a kid, Amy pulled me off a jet ski when I was turning, so yeah. I still want a jet ski though, I did like 55 MPH the first time I was on one and immediately wanted more. I had my shoulders touching the handlebars trying to get lower to get another MPH or two.

That LT500 was a beast of a machine. I still really want one. My friends are I had pretty modest ATVs and dirt bikes, nothing spectacular or overly high performance but they'd still go about 50 (one of my older dirt bikes had a speedo for a bit until I broke it off). One of my friends' cousins and his friends would come ride with us from time to time and they all had completely done up Banshees. Those things were scary fast. The new ones have just kept getting bigger and more powerful, I can't imagine what they can do now. When I was growing up, the 250-400 cc range was about as big and bad as they got. The utility ATVs were just starting to break into the 600 cc range and Kawasaki I believe was the first one to bring a V-twin to the game. They've just kept getting more and more ridiculous ever since. The new Can-Am Renegade 1000 is my current dream ATV.

The speed freak side of me is one reason I never got into motorcycles. I know I’d want a sport bike, and a fast one at that. I loved the white and blue GSX-R when I was in high school that were super popular. That speed coupled with my lack of coordination was why I stayed away.

I’ve been there twice now to help out with some wiring. Good experience both times. I’m still planning the suspension setup I want, but once I figure it out I’ll have them help out with it as well. The shop Tacoma they have is beautiful. I saw some videos of them taking it out last week and it looked like it did well. They are definitely more than just a Jeep shop now.

You should definitely come out! But, we'll have to have you do it a bit slower. Going too quick off road is a way to tear up shit.
Dorset Caves  Plus I'd love to be able to go to that restaurant down the street for breakfast again! Jacob and I had the best pancakes at that place!

Haven’t made it out to Thunder Mountain this year but it’s an awesome park and local to us which is a bonus. I used to make the trek to Highland but I’ve really gotten out of biking sadly. The Santa Cruz looks great. It doesn’t look uphill friendly like you said. I’m always there in a DJ hardtail setup. I’ve eyeballed full suspension in the past but can’t decide what style bike would fit me best. Worked at a shop for years too so it’s all fuel to the fire. I’ll get back into it eventually.

yeah I can’t bring myself to buy a 12k bike, but I sure do enjoy renting one for $100 2-3 times a year. I’ve ridden some great bikes that I’ll never afford lol

you know what they say. Flies floats or......

Yeah some of these new bikes are insane in cost. It’s hard for me, I came from the bmx world where a 1K bike is like, realllllly good. And now I’m getting into mtb where a 1k frame is mid range and a 1k bike is under qualified. Suspensions is expensive! I did just do new brakes though for about 125. And I have a 26 so a dropper post doesn’t make much sense. Will probably do a 1 by conversion soon though. But yeah, renting those time to time is fun but I wouldn’t want to own one. I’d be so scared of any little bit of damage. That’s why I like my 26 hard tail, I don’t spend a lot on it and if something breaks, it’s not going to break the bank to fix it.

I've been up there. It's a pretty straight forward route.

He always made comments about his work hours being pretty terrible. He might just be working a poop-ton of hours or, hopefully he actually got to take a vacation!

Does anybody have experience in adding extra D-rings to the bed of their truck beds?

I have 2 in the aft part of my bed at the tailgate. I would like to add two more to the forward Part so I would have one on each corner of bed. I see I have drainage holes (3)
    73206211-39CD-4FE0-BBD2-0F68B85BC898.jpg
another on opposite corner. Can I use these a pilot holes? Bed is composite so I would need to start carefully if were to do this.
    Thoughts?
