Your fogs have a dial on them to raise and lower. Might be able to throw light a little further out by raising them. Each dial is closest to them engine side

Finally received my OEM bed lights from Miami Ebay seller. Glad I researched TW before running wires, and making a mess. Bought the switch and relay from a local dealer. Really impressed with the end result!20200730_214530 (1).jpg

Thanks for your input. I think I may go for the Prinsu. I wasn't aware that UTO made armor plates for it. I'll have to investigate. I like the idea of having handles

If you want a rack you can easily remove when not in use, Yakima now has landing pads that fit the 3rd gen Tacoma. The whole rack took me about an hour to install and you can remove it in less than 5 minutes. I have well over 3,000 miles with my rack now and have had zero issues.
As far as MPG I lose up to 5% (depends on the wind direction and your speed) with a basket installed I notice between 5-10% loss.

Did you install them yourself? How hard was it? Did you have to get it realigned?

I did install them myself. It wasn’t too hard just take your time and watch a few YouTube videos, they walk you right through it. I live up in New Hampshire so honestly the most time consuming thing was getting the rusted bolts off of the old shocks. I haven’t gotten an alignment done yet but I will sometime this week.

Installed a 2nd Gen Tacoma or FJ Cruiser manual shift knob with a 3 inch extension on to my 3rd gen auto. More work than I thought. I drive with my hand on the shifter at all times. After my arm surgery it has been hurting me in the elbow/upper forearm area. Fixed that today. I will have the install video up soon on my channel. Video is up now. IMG_0889.jpg

Unfournatley, I have run into the issue of water leaking into my door and running out of my speaker grille. I've been looking through the forums for a while, and have not been able to find a solution to this issue. Does anyone know a fix or a forum I have missed?

I had the water leaking problem on my 2020 but it wasn’t coming out of the speaker. Doors are not water tight on any automobile. They have drains at the bottom of the door but there should be a vapor barrier in yours to prevent it from hitting anything else. I brought it in for the door lock being messed up but it turns out it was just bad from the factory and the water had nothing to do with it.

This thing is stout like 1/4 thick aluminum and it’s built with good quality. I ordered it on Saturday night and I got it by the following Friday. In this new world that’s amazing good job RCI ! It took 15 minutes to install. I see all these guys on the trail with all this money spent on all the stuff you see up top. Chrome don’t get you home man. Don’t forget to protect your under carriage. Now I’m going to have to redo my front skids because the gas tank skid way outshines and we can’t have that.

Scratch in the paint. Sending the tailgate to an auto body shop to be fixed.
