We did not get quite up to the North Maine Woods. We just felt we were not prepared and that probably was not a wise choice for a last minute trip.

We ended up going in the Katahdin Iron/Jo Mary area. Camped and had a blast! We ended up hiking Big Spencer which was awesome!

We did spot a sweet silver Tacoma on Saturday in Kokadjo pulling a small travel trailer. That thing was a beauty! You a member on here? I would have said hi but I am too shy and awkward haha...

We will get up to those North Maine Woods soon though... I love that whole area! If I could find a way to move up there, I'd pack my bags today!

Weekend plans got canceled Sat morning, so I was loaded up and headed north by 1030. Great trip just to get out and explore some new areas.

Any guesses where this was taken?

you know, I thought about that... walked out there a ways too and it was ok, some mud and deeper than it looked but I think I could have made it through. At the end of the day tho there was nothing on the other side haha

I've driven some roads that only exist on maps and found that the roadbeds they use are made to last a lifetime. Washouts and pulled culverts are another story though.

anyone have some rear shocks for 2-3" lift? I have my suspension shipping from Florida (should be here on thursday), and would love to at least get the front, and the rear leafs installed. then all I would have to do is remove/reinstall the rear shocks. would be until september when my new shocks arrive (backordered)... thanks.

    New suspension time!!
Dobinsons MRA 3 way adjustables with 2.4" rear springs

JBAOFFROAD high caster UCA's ordered, should be here in a week or so.
I got the midrange 111 2.4" leafs with greasable shackle bolts, and I have the archive offroad u-bolt flip kit with superbumps that's been sitting down there for a little over a year. Overall I plan to get about 2.5" out of this setup, and eventually sell these tires, and get something in a 33" flavor, and eventually regear to 5.29s and VFtune... wee!! Been an exciting year for the tacoma...

Sadly the rear shocks are on backorder until september, anyone have any shocks kicking around that will handle 2.5"??

Me and the girlfriend are spending a couple days in Portland next week, I know its barely maine but I am driving the truck up so if there's anything cool or pretty to look at that we could hit up id appreciate the suggestions! The truck is basically stock save for a set of wildpeaks so nothing too intense haha
