I know not everyone will be interested, but here is a chronological picture gallery of everything I did to my 300zx to get it from beatdown shitbox to running driving shitbox.... Figured it might help Barto, that's why I even bothered uploading it.

I've always preferred that front end over the earlier Z31's

Had 3, all turbo, 2 of them were auto, and they were fun little cars. But in CA, a later variant turbo fetched all the money.

    @CS_AR

Ordered these lower links last night. After talking to two members on here, we narrowed it down to poly bushings due to my driving style (which includes on road) plus ease of maintenance (if any really) -

I may go with Currie Johnny joints on only one end though and that'll be for the upper links. Here's the set I'm eyeballing -

The joints will require cleaning, and greasing as I was told roughly once a month. Sure it may annoy me a little but at least it's a total of 2 vs a total of 8 or more.

It's worth it for the Johnny's on the upper links, my LC has basically the same setup and you'd be surprised how little actually gets up into the upper links just based on placement, if you're mostly on road... as my LC is.

Re-greasing will keep them clean. They have zerk fittings.

So I've been asking all the dumb questions on here because I am not at all familiar with the rear setup the 4R has, or any LX/GX/LC for that matter.

Seeing as how you've replaced the links on your LC, did you find having to adjust your upper link a lot for your pinion angle?

This is of course assuming you have a lift.

The 4R will get a 2" lift so minimal really.

This is true, unloading the joints and cleaning them isn't great to do regularly because the big gland nut threads could become chowdered from frequent re torquing to the pre-load amount.

Yeah that's what I like about all the links available; they all have zerk fittings.

Match the link length to your originals first, install them and see if you have vibes... if you do, adjust them longer in 2 turn intervals and re test. It won't take a lot to get it right, but don't go crazy far or you'll bind the panhard bushing

    Will keep that in mind.

I'll need to remember to not do everything all at once too.

I plan on getting @eimkeith panhard correction kit which lifts slightly on the driver side, and drops slightly on the passenger side to even out the angle on both ends.

Then will come the adjustable panhard bar.

Based on the Johnny Joint, the Metal Tech ones look like the ones I bought from TT. In fact, I think they may be rebadged Metal Tech. Mine came with a bag of Poly Bushings. I think they are ES. I ought to get a set of replacement bushings to keep on hand in the event I have difficulty finding them years down the road.

I don't think my Panhard is too worn with original bushings. It will do until I can get the Panhard drop installed after the lift. I want the Panhard to have some flex. I know some guys who went with Delrin bushed Panhards and later regretted it.

I would like to refresh the Panhard with some SuperPro bushings though.

I'm just asking, I don't really know... but don't you want to replace everything at once?

If your set your links up to match what's stock now, and then do a lift. Wont you have to come back and readjust those links?
