From what I was told, once glass is tempered it can't be cut so the process is lengthy as im in hawaii (template, cut, ship out for temper, ship back and install). I wish a dealer would work with me but everyone is telling me no as glass will typically break when shipping. Local dealer (only one in hawaii) doesn't deal with ATC campers so im outta luck there, wish i could just get a windoor

I tried auto glass shops to include satellite but I guess they don't cut custom, even if its flat glass. Only place willing to work with my is a little local glass shop that typically works with home and bath.

So is polycarbonate out of the question? Also even though your cap is a different brand, the windows are fairly universal. If there is another cap dealer that has toppers in stock, you can go and measure some to find one that matches. Their response will always be “no it won’t work” because they won’t install it.

I got a lexan piece in there now. I'll try and bring it over to the dealer and see if they can find something to work. Windoor would be great.

Yea if they're willing to work with you, you should be able to find something that will fit. A windoor could get expensive though. I'd be on the lookout for a cheap used cap as well. You could actually find a whole cap for less than a new window. If the cap is destroyed then just swap the window.

That is probably harder to do in HI though.

That's a buzz kill right there.

Makes sense. They probably don't have anything as skinny if they do showers and doors and stuff.

This may be your ticket then. But you've got multiple pieces to make one, right? Keep an eye out or place an order for a big enough sheet of lexan. Know anyone working at a store that'd let you liberate a piece from a cashier's station?

Yep. Options are slim on an island I suppose. You could use a thin piece of sheet metal and paint it to match.

I would spend more than $200...$500 minimum or it won't last.

The windows help keep the interior cool in the summer, helps your beer stay cold longer in your coolers.

Do all of the Leer caps overlap the bed rails? I can't tell if it covers the TRD decal...

Well, flew out and bought the truck last weekend. Drove it 9 hours home Sunday. They yesterday drove 7+ hours back towards where I bought it from to snag the shell from another guy then drove back the 7+ To make it to work this morning. I’m dumb. Some things need repaired and replaced and I absolutely feel I paid too much but matching red AND windoors, I couldn’t pass it up.
