Rolling in the stall now. Still debating on wrap or not.

    Coffee first though...

Only thought for wrap was to keep the color.

Thanks! I still have no standard or preference to wrapping. Usually a cook by cook basis.

I wonder how two sets of those probes would work together... ?

It’s a time thing for me. Plenty of time =no wrap. Time issues = wrap and higher heat.

We all have our own preferences. I would wrap since you already have a nice bark and color, plus it's already splitting. If it didn't have the nice bark at this stage I'd let it ride.

the block and app will do 4

Pretty much the same. Also wrap if the bark is getting too crispy

That was original thinking. Guess I should just do one of each and see if there is noticeable difference in the end.

But will they interfere with each other if you had 2 or 3 blocks and 8 or 12 things needing probed?

This question made me curious, My initial thoughts were no there should be no interference since its bluetooth/Wifi and how those systems work. Just to be sure I had to check and it shouldnt be a problem according to their FAQ!:
"How many probes can I use with the MEATER app at once?
The MEATER app can connect up to 4 MEATER devices simultaneously via Bluetooth, and 8 MEATER devices via MEATER Link."

So based of that if I understand correctly you could have up to 32 probes if you ran 8 of the Meater Block devices via meater link or 4 blocks for 16 probes via bluetooth.

Smaller unwrapped butt finished up and in the Shaam.

18.5 hours cook time. Spent most of the night and morning at 195-200.

    Other butt close to done.

Second butt. Falling apart as I was transferring it. Little fat cap remains held it mostly together

Definitely not the same barq as expected but still good.

Nekkid for sure wins out on pre tests.
