Went out today. Had some fun. Got stuck in the mud and now I have to chase down a power steering leak once I get the mud off. Great day though.

 

Installed the bed LED light. I borrowed the idea from @bogginator and installed a switch. Great product!

 

Did a little bank fishing this afternoon at a nearby lake.

Bought a steel full skid plate set from RCI.
I have a 4 cyl so I think I need someone to make me an extension for the transmission skid plate.
I'd also like them to make some plates to close the holes at the bottom of the rad support when I removed the extensions.

My tacomabeast "TEQ" decals also showed up today.

 

Sound deadened the back wall and under the back seats. Next is the doors.

 

I tried velcro, didn't hold. Tried double sided foam tape, didn't hold. Now I just used straight up gorilla glue and it's solid. Didnt want to run the risk of screws popping out of the arm rest over time.

 

Boy it has been a MINUTE since I've posted, but I'm officially back in the "losing money to my truck" boat. After not doing a thing to the rig in almost a year I got the itch BAD! Caught up on about 1000+ posts in the thread and boy have you guys hurt my wallet! Installed some long overdue extended brake lines, Finally did the Uni filter mod and the diff breather mod thanks to @Blais03 and @LivinLoud and their kit (since I'm too lazy to scrounge the parts myself) and did some Cali raised side shooters on ditch mounts!

No pictures but I changed the front diff and transfer case oil. Couldn't do the rear because the fill plug.is rounded of so I'm gonna weld a nut on it to get it off and replace it next week. Also bed lined my rci front skid plate since i had it off and was scratched to shit

 

Friend of a friend has been building hotrods from scratch and restoring old Chevys and Fords for 30 years or so. He did my BMC today and it looks like it's always been that way besides the fresh pretty paint haha.

Finally able to press the lower ball joints in after my brother in law machined a reciever for the press kit. Seems like Toyota made a very specific size for their lower ball joints.

Changed out rotors and pads. Pushed em to their max...



And finally replaced old battery with an optima yellow top cuz battery bling

I don't understand that but I really don't need to. If it was actual preload then technically it's putting additional load on the spring at rest which would definitely affect the ride quality. But it can't be actual preload because I've read it over and over on TW that the ride isn't affected. Whatev's lol.
