For a bit. It cleared up and we had a couple hours of clear skies for a fire. We just all broke off and went to bed

Where’d you get an extra? Junkyard? It seems like the driveline is awfully exposed and a spare seems logical. But Oem is ridiculously expensive.

I got very lucky and someone gave it to me for free. I don’t remember why but I think Toyota gave him a new one under tsb and let him keep the old one.

Don't forget to get your truck aligned after you replace the driveshaft

Emailed ECGS this morning asking for a quote to add a front ARB locker. I've never felt the need for one and would winch through something that I couldn't make, but this weekend that proved to not always work out like planned. On the plus side, my front bumper held up great to a few lateral tugs. Anyways, waiting to hear back from them and then I may pull the diff as soon as this week and get it mailed in. It's typically a one-week turnaround when you mail in your diffs, that way your truck isn't down for the count too long.

Rather than buy a mini air compressor to power it, I'll go totally analog and hook it to my powertank. No electronics to fail on me.

Would you look at that. ECGS already got back to me and it'll be $1,145 for everything and a 1-2 week turnaround time. I may pull the diff today and get it mailed out.

I wonder if they can do a rear locker in a day. They're at the halfway point between me and my folks. Hmmmmm....
