That was my thought as well.

I honestly didn't know you could get replacement jockey wheels. guess I'll find and order a spare set or two for the shop.

If anyone’s looking for one, there’s a 2021 Medium Transition Scout on Pinkbike for sale. Says free shipping, but located in Hawaii. Gonna be hard to get your hands on them for the rest of the year it seems.

Im looking for aftermarket jockey wheels for my sram setup. Those plastic ones are a PITA to clean. The anodized ones look purdy

This device has been wobble free and tight for the past 2 months. A definite upgrade to what came with the RakAttach.

Started exploring a new trail system recently. Bumped into two groups today that gave directions & recommendations to an unmarked trail. Neither group said which direction to ride it so we went clockwise and I'll be damned if every steep drop & feature was a climb (i.e. walking). Ugh! Won't ride that direction again!

NBD - YT Jeffsy 27. First full suspension after 25 years of hard tails. And YT came through and delivered early!

Anyone running clipless pedals that aren't spd? My xtr are done and I'm thinking about trying time since they have more float.

I run SPD and am happy with them. Probably won’t switch it up unless something really big comes out.
Before getting SPDs, I ran some Crank Brothers and hated them. I don’t know why but I couldn’t get in and out of them for the life of me.
You feel restricted with the amount of float on your XTRs? I’ve never had a problem with the amount of float on mine. They feel appropriate when pedaling, and whenever I eat shit - I come out of them. I feel like I’d still be attached to the bike if I had more float and ate shit.

I feel like I've been coming out of my SPDs when I don't want to (yes, I have the tension all the way up). I've also been getting some ankle pain on longer/ rougher descents which I'm hoping a bit more float could help with.

I also ran cranks bros back in the day. I liked the amount of float, but didn't like that you could never really tell if you were clipped in. Also, those old model egg beaters exploded on me several times.

SPDs have that nice positive click when your get in/out. I've heard time has that same click but with the float of crank bros and that you can crank the tension up higher to prevent accidental releases.

Big day in the saddle. 40 miles, 4K up, 8K down, 5.5 hours. Explored some rarely ridden trails, got caught in a rainstorm, saw a few moose, ate shit in a ditch, flew through a flower field. Great day, much needed.

    Yep, that's the "trail."
