165k on stock suspension so yes pretty much. He got prety good lift out of it. I was impressed hell with 265's on it he was taller than my truck but the lift was nice and functional. Once we dd the steel bumper and skids it may bring it down a little

i made my own rub this time. I rubbed the butt, I think its a shoulder actually Christie got it and i didn't read the package but it has a bone in it, with mustard first then the rub and let it sit all night.

 

That will be great. Do you like a Carolina mustard sauce I have a good recipe for it

 

i don't usually do sauce just never been a big fan of it sometimes I will put a little on the side

Oh I appreciate the offer and may take you up on it in the future. It's just always been a personal prefference for me I just like to taste the meat. It always seemed the sauces would cover up too much of the flavor of the smoke and rub. 30 years of painting my taste buds aren't that sharp anymore. Everybody else in the family likes sauces.

 

I don’t sauce any meats while cooking but do enjoy some on the side. But I feed so many different people I need to be prepared for all. Some people like a sauce and slaw on there pork sandwiches. On chopped beef I like pickles and onions with a touch of habanero Bbq sauce

 

The guy that manages the kitchen at work makes some killer pickled onions. you can use them like a relish nice topper

We had quite a bit last week. It rained several days. We were supposed to get some severe storms last night but not much came through a little but not much. I think we are going to get quite a bit the next few days. We harvest rain water for all of Christie's house plants and we had run out and were having to get it from the dehumidifier. We have now filled all our containers back up with rain water probably about 30 gallons
