You don’t need steady hands. It’s a giant piece of vinyl that ‘floats’ until you squeegee it into place. IE, super easy and user friendly install. Don’t let the scale intimidate you. If you have some legit physical hindrances, I understand. Otherwise, sac up and get after it.

Also, while the rapid-tac stuff is probably great, it’s not mandatory. I find a clean surface and a good solution of water/baby soap works just fine.

I bought the largest one and professional application was recommended. I have a heat gun and it’s cold today. Maybe I should
    Just do it.

Sounds like you fall into the ‘otherwise’ category.

FWIW, mine is/was the largest option as well. Installed solo. Easy peasy

Just got mine in. Any special weather concerns regarding installing it? Obviously wouldn't want to do it in the rain, but it's been super hot here in TN and I'm not sure if that will effect things. I know some vinal is more or less heat activated but I've got the Rapid TAC fluid so not sure if that stops the heat from effecting things.

    Thanks

Better to do it on a cool hood and not in direct sunlight. I had my hood very wet with lots of solution until I was happy with the placement then started the squeegee process to remove bubbles.

Absolutely DO NOT try install in direct sunlight, particularly when the hood is hot. The vinyl is very thin, and any manipulation will stretch the material and ruin it. You need to lubricate the hood and "float" the decal around until it's in the right spot. Then patiently squeegee the air bubbles out starting from the center.

Anyone know if these are still being made? Got one a few years ago and it’s starting to peel a bit from the weather, looking to order again and replace
