Thank you... it’s a huge pain in the ass to do it like this but the finished product will be worth it. Its kind of funny how I have about a weeks worth of time just in stripping the interior and cutting all the sheet metal when the actual tube work only takes me 3 days.

Excited to see how this gets trimmed out. Are you keeping track of all tube dimensions if you are asked to duplicate?

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
it's like finish work, all the time is in prep. That final top coat is goes on quick and easy. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Spindle and LCA mockup with 934 CV and new axles.

Looks like I'll get 11" of travel once it's strapped and bumped. A 2wd version would pull almost 22".

What’s limiting the travel for the 4wd? That’s a huge difference

With 2.25” over arms I was able to get the CVs to safely cycle 15” travel... are these stock length arms?

Doubtful, see below. These cv’s should allow for plenty of travel and the vertical uniballs should only allow him to get more.
I don’t think so that’s why I was asking @Arcticelf Seems like a lot of work if they are stock length to barely get over what stock will do. Maybe it was a typo

CVs, turning them by hand, and some asshole not correctly accounting for UCA pivots and short changing the UCA length by about 3". That's also why the camber is so extreme.

@81Trekker those are +1.5 length arms. So it should cycle a little less than your 2.25 setup.

I'll get an actual angle gage on the axle next week and see what the range is based on the measured limits not hand turning for binding.

Correct, I was able to cycle 11.5” with a stock lower arm, stock CVs and the bump stop removed. The 934’s safely allow 28 degrees of angle and the limiting factor with the 2.25” over kit was the upper uniball. If the upper uniball was turned vertical the kit would easily pull 15” of 4x4 travel at 2.25” over. I know this because we tried it, however the cost of custom spindles made it not worth the extra couple inches of travel. We always joke around that anything over 9” of travel cost $1k per inch but it’s fairly accurate:)
