Hey @whitedlite, we passed through your neck of the woods today coming back from the beach. We stopped at Peach Park and got some shakes.

I might be interested in one of the stock sport wheels. What size tire is on them? Looking to pick up a spare.

That is where I'm from, exit 205 is a big hit in the summer between Peach Park and Durbins. They need to redo that exit to be like the new Calera I65/US31 intersection. Calera's bridge is like 6 lanes or something crazy. I believe they've been approved to 4 lane all the way from my exit to the first Calera exit so expect Calera to start growing even faster.

I live beside Oak Mtn now though.

I did see this guy cruising around earlier on my way to Costco. Looks very clean and stock.

I would have too. It's too bad. Hopefully the owner will look at it and be glad you brought it back and get it taken care of pretty quick(next chance they get).

My friend said I couldn’t climb this hill without 4x4...locked it up and proved him wrong lol

Side note: my front tires caught air twice today (sent it too hard, oops:eek:). It didn’t bottom out but is there any damage or things I should check? Never really jumped this thing before lol

I thought I saw you on the river today, but I wasn’t sure until I got back to the parking lot. I wasn’t trying to be rude.

Found a deal on a used CVT Rainier and pulled the trigger today. I’ve never owned one so I’ve got a few questions for you RTT owners. Did y’all install bed stiffeners? If so, did you do it when you installed the tent or wait until problems developed down the road?

You’d actually be surprised what a 2wd locked can do. People who have never owned one won’t know so only you will know what your truck can and can’t do. I’ve climbed so pretty steep hills when it’s dry. When it’s slick it’s another story. Like that hill down that side road in 600-1.

We’ve had so many discussions on this it’s unreal. Almost as many as front locker vs no locker. I went ahead and did it just for the added protection and tie down points.

Depends on how you install the rtt. Most that get/need the stiffeners have a camper shell which is fiberglass and flexes with the composite bed. Bed bars or a bedrack act as bed stiffeners just connected at the top.

bottom line, they’re cheap insurance and provide multiple uses. No sense in not getting them.

I’ve got a set of CBI overland bars headed my way for mounting the tent. Looks like I’ll add stiffeners to the to do list, too. Thanks for the responses.
